$1099 is just ridiculous. There is no way I'm spending that much on these two figures. I can buy an OC Batman for less. If this is the going price for these two, which I highly doubt, then I'll have to pass. It's probably like haytil said. The seller is just getting a jump on the competition.

that doesnt make any sense, the demon body isnt the same design as the Dx body. I would agree if the demon body was TDK armor suit, but its not.

I think he may have meant recycled as in properly recycled and remoulded etc. If so, then yeah i guess it's possible, but doesn't really matter in any way

Other sellers will sell them for much less. Without collusion, competition will result in lower prices - and there's definitely no collusion amongst the 1/6 Ebay sellers.

Thus, the price will be slightly higher than the cost of the sellers to acquire the figures in the first place. Since they won't be spending near $1000 to get this set in their inventory, they won't end up selling them near that price either.

My one - and only - Ebay pre-order was from Tony Cheung. The DX Joker.

He was real slow sending it out to me - I think he had them in inventory for a while and was selling them to others, at higher prices than what he pre-sold the DX to me for. He only sent it out when I started pressuring him and suggesting that he refund me my money.

So I didn't get cheated or anything, but customer service wasn't his highest priority.

I rewatched begins today..I think the idea of throwing another head on batman and making this and making him bbq batman is a great idea.

That's by far my favorite scene in the movie.
