Other sellers will sell them for much less. Without collusion, competition will result in lower prices - and there's definitely no collusion amongst the 1/6 Ebay sellers.

Thus, the price will be slightly higher than the cost of the sellers to acquire the figures in the first place. Since they won't be spending near $1000 to get this set in their inventory, they won't end up selling them near that price either.

I hope this is right. This is one that I'm more than positive I'll pre-order.

My one - and only - Ebay pre-order was from Tony Cheung. The DX Joker.

He was real slow sending it out to me - I think he had them in inventory for a while and was selling them to others, at higher prices than what he pre-sold the DX to me for. He only sent it out when I started pressuring him and suggesting that he refund me my money.

So I didn't get cheated or anything, but customer service wasn't his highest priority.

Same thing happened to me and his feedback comments at the time suggested it happened to others. He seems to send pre orders last.

no way this is going to be 1000 dollars. It's not going to be in that much of a demand where people will pay that.

They better do a limited run of 2000 ish if they want $350 for the set. If they dont, good luck on selling out of them.

Dont get me wrong .. but I dont think that .. this figures. will cost that much .. besides.. To any BATMAN:FAN out there.. the most important figure.. is the BATMAN .. but Let hope and for the sake of out money pockets .. that they wont be so expensive..We pay about 400 ofr the batman DX and the joker too .. and the most expensive hot toy right now is the batman begins.. Without mention the tumbler.. and the Batpop..but to pay for a twin pack anivesary .. $1000 is madness.. may be for a DX .. but ..let .. just see. when .. they get to be release .. for real everywhere.. if is $1000 i pass.. but if is less .. I read in another thread that HT were finished with the Batman liscence and won't be doing any figures from TDKR... Is that true? I can't seem to find any confirmation of this, and if so does that mean there's zero chance of a re-release of Scarecrow on his own at some point in the future?
