Best HT Figure to Date?

Wow... Looking at the title of this thread, I thought that someone wanted to date a Hot Toys figure :rotfl

Anyway, I'll have to go with Christopher Reeve Superman.

Is this thread 'personal favorite' or 'objectively the best'

If rersonal favorite I can see why people would vote Superman of 89 Batman. They are great.

But if we're just talking about the best in terms of complexity and difficulty I don't see how it could be anything but the DX Jack Sparrow.

The multiple layers of clothing and accessories, many different materials that needed to be used and perfect sculpt just make it untouchable IMO

....and that's before you get to the fact it came with 2 perfect sculpts and an awesome giant ship wheel....

No vote is objective lol. But, I think you can talk about the "best" figure in terms of likeness, poseability, tailoring, amount of accessories, cost (value for the money), etc. I'm not sure if that's what the OP meant though.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with DX09. Vito, Wolverine, and I have high hopes for DX08.

I don't own Jack Sparrow and I'm sure he is a great figure but I have know investment in the character. He's just not that iconic to my generation so personal preference.

Currently my favorite figure in my collection is either Tech Noir Arnold or the T-1000 but they're not listed so . . .

It's gotta be '89 Batman. Batman arrived Monday but I haven't gotten a chance to open it yet (going to do that tomorrow). I have Reeve Superman but, to be honest, other than the "oh man, we finally have a Reeve Superman figure" it doesn't do much for me. It's a nice figure, don't get me wrong but it just bores the ____ out of me for some reason. I had two and just recently sold my regular. I like it but it doesn't come close to Batman. I don't have Jack Sparrow (have no interest in the character whatsoever) so, yeah, I'm going with '89 Batman on this poll. That's the better figure.

Nicholson Joker has a chance to top it if the headsculpt is as good or better than the prototype. That's the best likeness Hot Toys has produced so far. Overall though, it'll be hard to be the Dark Knight. That thing is like a miniature Michael Keaton.

I hear you, I feel the same way. I am selling my Supe EX but it's hard to sell this thing without taking a loss or too much loss.
