I made no comparison to civil war whatsoever in my post.

Everyone that commented on my post did though even after saying they shouldn't be compared.

If it's ok for people to praise the film here then it should be ok for people to criticize it as well.

No worries. I personally wasn't referring to you by stating that you in particular were comparing them; I was merely making a general statement about individuals that feel the need to compare them by lauding one while disparaging the other.

I agree that it should be just as okay for fans/people to express their opinions on why they didn't like a film as much as it is ok for other fans/people to express their opinions on why they did like it.

For me personally, what I don't understand is people who essentially aren't even fans of one particular universe to begin with (DC or Marvel) but venture into the threads of the other universe just to simply bash any particular film.

Just watched the UC version
Loves it! Just don't understand why would WB released the ****** version of BVS for the theatrical release, I mean they cut all the important scenes which connects the whole story. Worst decision ever from WB!
Synder deserves an apology from the WB boards!

its all about how many times they can play the movie in a day at theaters. but in their attempt to get the run time down they cut a bunch of important parts of the plot. they should of released the 3 hour version originally or cut out more to simplify the story.

instead of just trimming the africa scenes, the senate stuff and the lois investigation, they should of cut it all out.

I'll likely still get the figure cause I think it looks awesome. I already have the man of steel superman so they'll look good together.

What bums me out so much about the movie is that I AM a big fan of these characters and I was just disappointed I guess.

I wonder if those initial pictures of the Batman were/are the body for the armored bat all along. It was smaller which would mean it would leave room for all the plates. Also less definition becuase its mainly getting covered anyway. It was a place holder as they developed the actual figure. Which is why armor bat is coming out before this one.

i wanted regular batman first . . . . . sigh

i'll buy it anyway . . . . . and deapool too

This can still be out soon- not every figure in a Coming Soon pic is an accurate gauge of what is coming in the weeks ahead- some figures have been released at the same time frame of the coming soon pic without being in the photo!

I think they are taking the extra time to tweek this figure. I wouldn't be totally surprised to see a even more muscular, bulkier body on the final production pieces that closely matches the movie. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Careful in wanting it to be too bulky though. More bulk could mean more hindered articulation than what it looks like it already may be.

Articulation will be pretty poor anyway I think. The first proto looked like it would have decent articulation, lots of room to move in that sack it was wearing :lol

:lol

Even with the updated muscular body, I agree that articulation looks like it will be limited. That's why I personally don't really want it to be bulked up even more than what it is; I fear that could potentially further hinder articulation than what it already looks to be. I utterly love the Ant-Man figure, but I don't want articulation on this one to be that poor as that figure because I hope to be able to at least pose this Batman figure holding his grenade launcher with two hands. The rest of my Batman figures are in basic poses, so I want to pose this one with one of his weapons.

His arms will probably be relatively poseable. The rest of the figure, maybe less so. Should be fine for more relaxed poses, just not dynamic ones. I don't think anyone will be too disappointed in it unless they're expecting IM levels of articulation.

Those are my sentiments as well.

I think simply being able to hold one of his weapons with two hands in a relaxed pose will be feasible, but as another poster asked earlier, I don't really see this figure allowing a pose with the sniper rifle held up high with the scope right up to his eye.

Yeah I wouldn't have thought that it would be capable of anything like that.

To be honest, I wouldn't want to pose him with the sniper rifle personally, so it's not a problem for me.
