Yeah. In terms of "being realistic" (as much as I hate to say that when talking Comic movies, if we are talking about who really looked like a guy in a suit that could pull real moves, that was Bale.

Keaton was restricted as hell, but at least he wasn't made up of CGI most of the time.

Also, Keaton> Everybody else..

:)

Yeah and I'm glad they finally got round to addressing that. I still can't see Marvel movies as anything but cheap, by-the-numbers set-ups for the next Avengers movie though. This way of handling comic characters is a shame because BvS fell into the same trap in a way. Albeit I found the ten seconds of the Aquaman reveal far more thrilling that any of the Cap or Thor movies.

I see what you're seeing up to a point, and several of Marvel's movies fell into that trap. My favorite two are Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, which work as stand alone movies, albeit with a teaser after the credits that in on way effects the film itself, so I don't think it's fair to lump all the Marvel films into that single category.

BvS had way, way, way too much set up for Justice League. From the forced computer files to the dream sequences that detracted from the story itself. I would have much rather seen a minute teaser after the credits than something that interrupts the movie itself.

I for one am tired of "realistic" Batman movies. BvS seemed to move a bit more into the realm of fantasy than the Nolan movies, but not far enough for me. The Burton movies had a great combination of fantasy and reality, as did Batman: The Animated Series. I want to see someone like Guillermo del Toro pit Batman vs. Man-Bat in a Gothic Gotham City.

I've always thought Keaton did an interesting performance in those movies, but it wasn't exactly 'Batman' in the same way Affleck is.

He was better as Bruce, more intense, doesn't feel like he had a chance yet to shine as Batman. He didn't do a whole lot in the suit other than beat up on Superman.

It's a movie about Superman's impact on the world that's mostly about Bruce while trying to set up the JLA.

Affleck was good as Batman; Wonder Woman was awesome.

I can see how the appeal won't be for everyone but the fact Age of Ultron scored so high is an indication that the media is Marvel biased.

gonna be posing this guy with the sniper
jaw dropped when he was actually standing there on the crane. I think it was a crane.

It's really depressing how much Marvel can get away with and it still gets praised.

I have gripes with poorly rushed ideas.
I don't know how a marvel bias comes into play.
They took there time.
DC is trying to catch up and it shows. The legacy of the greatest show down in comic history has suffered for this reason.

Affleck is not the best. Bale still king.
Shame too, this suit design was magic!
If only the on screen and HT fig were
executed better.

Thor movies, Age of Ultron, Captain America #1.. Ok movies with universal acclaim.

Then this pretty good/decent film comes along and pretty much critics hate it.

Affleck as Batman AND Bruce Wayne makes Keaton seem dweeby and awkward and Bale mopey and impotent.

I went in expecting it to be awesome after hearing all the fans say they loved it, but I didn't end up feeling that way at all. It had good parts, but overall it was just... Okay.

Eisenberg was the worst villain I've seen outside of Hector Hammond in Green Lantern. Not a fan of the way Superman was treated in the film either.

I'm actually looking forward to more Wonder Woman than anything else, she was pretty cool.
