I think comparing a photo of Gal dressed up to a poorly lit figure shot with dark surroundings is probably a bad example
So the thing we need to bare in mind is this is not a miniature Gal Gadot figure,
it is Gal as WW in BVS that HT is trying to do
The expression is still bad but I think HT was trying to capture this expression from Gal again as WW
IMO I still need to see better natural light shots of this figure or better lit pics before I decide that HT really missed the mark
It's the eyes.

Leia is the best female likeness they've done by far
While it's undeniable that there's plenty of stuff off in HT's sculpt, we'll only know for sure when viewing it at normal distance in hand.
Looking forward to that day!
Not really. You just think it's ridiculous because you think it's ridiculous.
The only way it would be ridiculous is if it was out of character for him suddenly to do so. It was completely within his character as dario said well, Jonathan Kent did not want the world knowing who Clark is, he doesn't want anything bad to happen to him because he knows what he is - an alien. And this film is hugely based in todays world, and what do people do to aliens even from other parts of the globe? Mistreat, ridicule, use and abuse. Of course he would fear for Clark. And he doesn't know what powers he has, what he is capable, what good he is capable of doing at that point of the film. All he wanted, a continuation of the scenes we got when he was a kid, was to protect him and keep him safe and hidden. You're probably thinking that this is ridiculous because you expect Jonathan Kent to be something else... well tough ****, Jonathan Kent was this in the film, and certainly isn't ridiculous. You just didn't like this representation. Many people did, completely fit in with the rest of the film and universe. I prefer knowing that it is his choice to protect others and inspire hope, it was his innate humaneness rather than being taught it.
So he cared so much about that and Clark that he chose to sacrifice himself rather than have his fears brought to life of Clark being exposed to the world - not Superman. Clark wasn't Superman until the end of the film.

Agreed on those being the best female likenesses. And only in one try.
Leia and I would have to put CW Widow on the list ..no way we can't see Scar in that
