And those statues were not made from scans of Gal. They were sculpted by hand by James Marsano. Very impressive.

Err.. Maybe some final review and approval before manufacturing? I think pre-order starts when thry got the license, not necessary final approval of the product..

DC Direct just announced a series of statues for the upcoming Wonder Woman movie and they nailed the likeness.
This really puts Hot toys to shame.

Indeed, but I'll have to see in hand pictures before I even think about ordering HT's Wonder Woman and that's a figure I really want.

Really want to see how this turns out. If it hasn't improved much from the prototype they'll surely nail the likeness for the WW solo or JL.
