A very thoughtful response, and honestly you echo a lot of my own sentiments.

I like the X-Men. I grew up on them. But I don't LOVE the X-Men as a diehard fan. I'm never going to try and complete the whole team or say that Gambit or Colossus are ever in my favorite heroes rankings.

But, yep, I was - and remain - a big Wolverine fan. Had all his toys as a kid. Drew him in my sketchbook. I don't need Wolverine front-and-center all the time, but I DO want to see him in stuff, and most importantly I just want to see him handled well.

Honestly if you were born in the 90s you’d understand why wolverine is such a fav. Like venom he was front and center during that time so a lot of us love him. I for one thought his name was xmen

I loved him in the 80s. His solo comic was on fire.

I got into X-Men like a lot of people with the 90s Jim Lee run, the animated series of course and that led right up to the first X-Men film.

Seeing Wolvie in live action was so great. The bar scene is yet to be topped.

Going down memory lane makes me want to replay the xmen origins wolverine game … that game was badass!

Have strong memories of the old X2 and Evolution figures (xmen evolution designs was soo good for wolverine)… I still don’t have a 1/6 wolverine tho

Seeing Wolvie in live action was so great. The bar scene is yet to be topped.

His introduction in X1 is excellent. They convey everything you need to know by showing, not telling.

I wish the mansion scene in X2 was handled better as that would then potentially become my favourite Wolverine scene.
Unfortunately the absence of any blood or gore for what should be brutal, rage-fuelled kills, janky stunt work (throwing two guys he’s supposedly impaled over his shoulders while visibly making zero contact with their bodies,) and his inconsistent and instantaneous switches from feral to completely composed when directing the kids really neuter what should be the most testosterone fuelled and telling demonstration of what a deadly threat weapon X truly is.

The biggest reason I don’t want Wolverine front and centre of the MCU’s X-Men is because of how much I adore Jackman in the role. Plus, even after 97, I still don’t trust them to do the team or property justice in live action.

I’m over here hoping we finally get a Logan movie figure.

Options are out there if you’re willing to forego packaging with the Hot Toys logo.

Absolutely awesome collection, I’m not too picky about the hot toys logo tho I do prefer and am more forgiving with officially licensed figures.

Although those sculpts are good, I’ve been tempted by them a couple times I don’t think any of the sculpts truly capture what i am personally looking for in a Logan sculpt to go down the custom route. I’m too picky and ocd when it comes to figures I put together myself.

Kinda crazy how hot toys doesn’t touch whet made marvel the powerhouse it is today. Like ya know making xmen 1-3 figures and raimi figures . He ll make the fox ff while you are at it.

instead of xmen 1-3 its days of future past wolverine, instead of raimi spider man it’s no way home.

The new captain Jack is his latest appearance rather than curse of the black pearl or his arguably more iconic dead man’s chest.

It’s JW4 instead of JW1, it’s the Feral Predator rather than the P1 Jungle Hunter.

Granted some of these choices do make sense, by the time these got announced, never mind released the hype for them would have died down leaving people wanting the originals.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the 89 2.0 went up for order not long before the flash version of Keaton…. How the flash movie suffered large delays and the 89 suit was still in the movie. So if they movie didn’t get delayed I am pretty sure the flash version of Keaton would have gone up first.

That said Batman and iron man is the type of character that Hot Toys would revisit the older suits after they get out the latest versions.

Some releases break this pattern tho like Neo.
