The depth... minimum: 17.15 cm (HOA) + 52cm (Stage base) = 69.15cm

If you want to replicate the distance as show in the movie however.. you'll need at least 110.42cm in depth

The hall of armor is 7" deep and the base is 20 1/4" so if you have the base touching the Mark IV cell would be 27 1/4" or 69.215cm

Thanks! I only opened up one unit today from the massive box and here are my initial feelings:

• I purchased the set of 7; however, I do not feel these are worth the $125 price tag for buying them as an individual unit. $74.99 would've been more reasonable due to the bulletpoint reasons below.
  
• The quality is decent, but it does not feel like your typical Hot Toys quality, almost as if this was rushed just to get them finally out to us.
  
• The detail is only satisfactory. Our 1/6 Mark Suit figures have great detail on them like weathering, scratches, carbon stains, dirt, etc. The whole HOA looks like a toy and doesn't look like a detailed display piece because the super clean gray plastic is bland. It doesn't have a "real-life" surface look to it that it could have had.
  
• Hot Toys, you couldn't include a $5 AC adapter especially for those who bought the $750+ set of 7? Shame!
  
• I do like how one AC adapter can power up the set of 7
  
• A mark suit looks great being displayed in each HOA unit.
  
• It would have been nice if the wall slabs would have a snap in mechanism to be secured to the back wall of the unit of some sort. When handling these, they tend to wobble and slip out.
  
• The clear plexiglass is actually a nice touch, although I haven't opened up my decal pack to see how they look yet.
  
• It's a pain to unscrew the AA battery covers behind the wall slabs. A snap in mechanism would have been more convenient.
  
• For those owning a single unit, it's kind of a pain to see the screw holes appearing on one side of the slab wall. Would have been nice if there could've been at least plugs to hide that.
  
• These were well packaged and secured by Hot Toys. Kudos for them for that.
  
• Back to bulletpoint #1. I just do not feel these are worth $125 individually.

I weighed one for you. One base is 4 lbs, 6.5 oz.

Thank you for your detailed review. Have you tried using an A/C to D/C power adapter? Another reviewer said there are no contacts for the Slide in walls to connect to the main power grid so you must use 3 AA batteries for each wall that you Slide in. It is a shame that for people using batteries in these walls have to use a screw driver to open the battery compartment. This is disappointing to me. The good thing is they are LED's, and don't know the power rating on them so the next test is for someone to sacrifice a lot of time and effort to load all 21 AA and 21 AAA batteries in and start a timer to see how many hours they last. Oh well.

Thanks. Yes, it is true that you must use 3 AA's for each wall.

I may be mistaken, but I think the AC power is to light up the rear wall and the overhead light. I did try the AA batteries in the walls and the brightness is "ok" but looks kinda weak. I am hoping that the rear wall and overhead light is brighter.

I definitely agree with you about the disappointment with the screws to open the battery compartment.

I feel that for any fellow boardies who didn't purchase these during the initial release, it might be better to wait until these could possibly go on sale. I know for one, I would not have paid full retail for these based on what I know now. That's just my 2 cents.
