Isn't the production version or the prototype.
Look how soft the sculpt is, almost looks like pixels (PERS is great though). Must be a pre-post-prototype production version for upcoming release ad only.
No way, that pic is definitely a post prototype, pre-production, handmade sample of a production molded piece with the paint of the production and a prototype melding of the PERS head with a smidge of a production prototype sample piece.
we need something to belive!!!!

I'm pulling for the middle one. Since I used all my rewards and flex optioned it I want it to be the best likeness possible and that ones wins pixel for pixel.

I hadn't actually noticed the box in that photo is the same as the "super fake painted by a six year old look at his ear lobe but it's real, can't be , it is".......

I really hope so, however it may also be another proto-type version dressed in the new attire, which I feel may be more accurate. Given the big original delay and the original not so good feedback of the original clean sculpt. This may be simply a new face sculpt prototype, they have dressed up for the photo shoot.
Here are my points; (1) we know HT is watching this forum as well as other forums. They know there is alot of negative feeback, hence the removal of the store display.
If the final product was as good as either the proto type or the recent publicity pic, why not respond too the criticism with new product pics??
Here we go again (2), as others have mentioned the lack of pics and communication is very reminiscent of the Indy DX situation.
(3) None of the usual suspects have received their Bespin luke for a review....very suspect.
I really feel the final product is and will be sub-par too the original advertised proto or otherwise. Even if we did not get pics would they not rush a new "true" production version luke to the frontline of this mess, the HT japan store to put all worries to rest within the fandom. Even more so, if they have invested in an essentially open ended edition, with presumably thousands already produced, its alot of money too lose if this figure tanks...something really stinks here.
All things are pointing for me towards fear and greed on HT side, and they are cowering in a corner hoping this does not blow up in their faces.
I really hope I'm wrong!! but if you look at what has transgressed over the last week, I think you all will agree, nothing is adding up currently to a happy outcome.

Not a bad call. Watching a couple of reviews of the new DX batman. A fair few people not happy about the quality and in general it seems things are slipping a bit. If you visit the Samurai Predator thread, half of them are coming with unpainted alien heads....
I think they probably stuck with the original sculpt (which wasn't bad if I'm being honest, didn't really see the need for a change) but changed the clothing over to a harsher/cheaper material. Just have to wait to see if the paint job is up to scratch.
A huge company wanting to maximize profit and avoid risk? Absurd.
Nobody's ever happy in the DC section though.... Especially whiny Bat fans!

This is probably totally unrelated, but I posted the other day that I'd been watching this page at Toy Anxiety (was going to buy a body if it turned out to be the TT Slim) for a while but that someone had come in and bought all 5 or 6 bodies within a couple of days. Now I'm thinking maybe they've just pulled Bespin Luke altogether and that the bodies actually didn't sell out. Since maybe February or March, TA's had all the options for this set parted out to the last piece. Here's the DX Luke page now.
Again, I'm pretty sure it unrelated and maybe has to do with something else entirely, like maintenance of some kind, but sure is funny timing that ol' Luke's been scrubbed off the site. *strokes chin*
Edit: Weird, it's still on the pre-order page, but if you click the link, it just goes to that blank page I linked already for Bespin Luke... *dramatically removes glasses*
