No, I always shop overseas because I have never found an Australian seller who can offer the same product cheaper. I've always found both US and SE Asian shipping to be 100% reliable, and I make sure I order from sellers who have a friendly return policy. I used to avoid SSC too because their prices were always higher than most other sellers - until I discovered how cheap their OS shipping is. I place a high value on customer service, and SSC are top-notch. I know that if I need to return anything they'll go above and beyond to assist.

As an example, SSC has Keaton Bats at $240 + (guessing) $25-30 shipping = max. $270. And that's US dollars, so closer to AUS$260 shipped. I can't see you getting it cheaper from an Australian seller. I'll let you know if I do find him cheaper from an Oz dealer though, 'cause I'm curious too. Casefresh has him earmarked for PO but doesn't have their price up yet - but they won't be cheap.

Are you sure?

Every time I have got a quote from SSC it has been outrageous.

I have always used Casefresh.

Epic. Thanks Lejuan. Have you gone through Shopforme before? They look legit. I would rather purchase from a seller closer to Australia (so preferably not Sideshow)

Hey BlitzOUT, I've bought I few things from them, some lego for my son and more recently, Cody from the SW Line and its all good, Their postage rates are pretty cheap.

I Just Po'ed both and the postage is only $16au which makes the figure like 267Au shipped,:yess:

Anyone heard from onesixthbruce about these? Wondering what pricing they will be and whether it's worth going with them rather than a US retailer and worrying about customs and all that

I wonder if this figure would actually fit inside the Batmobile, since in real life Batmans ears were too big to fit in the car with the roof closed so he had to wear a different cowl when he was driving.

I guess it depends on how screen accurate HT made it :lol

No, I've just checked WaiMan's site and they're not available yet. I really want to buy them from him; Having to pay for custom fees in addition to that ridiculous retail price is just too much. Can't get them from SCC this time! :(

Really awesome figures, but that much money for 12" figures... I don't know.
You know you want to... You'll be sleeping and dreaming about posing that Bats and Jokes.... Just do it....
You bet I want to, you bet! :lol But +- $700 (with shipping, taxes and FedEx fee) for two 12" figures... I would like to know how many people here would actually do it, honestly.

Your wallet may cry, but think of it as an investment. If a time came where you had to sell your collection, these will do nothing but appreciate in value over time.
Possible. Although I have a fair amount of so called 'grails' (HT, SSC, ThreeA, ...), I think that most items in my collection have actually LOST value over the years. Yet all where ballyhooed as 'investment' or 'rare' or something, at one point or an other.
Over the years I have learned not to think too much of the hype I read in threads on the boards.
That being said, I'm not giving an opinion on the future money trend of these two outstanding figures, discussed here. I'm just saying.

Besides... al those figures that have gained value, I wouldn't sell anyway, cause I like 'em too much myself! :lol I'm sure the 12" bubble will burst, sooner or later.

There, happy you sissy?

Wow I really like that too.
Now having something like this, would make a much better exclusive than just painting an Iron Man grey

Any idea how they manage to ship things so cheap? I just got a quote returned for the Sweeney Todd figure (after almost 2 weeks though) and was shocked that it was only around $35, when other US based sellers are shipping for double that at $70+.

I'm still not ready to make the jump though until I get a concrete quote. Unless an Australian buyer with enough experience with SS can convince me that all their orders shipped at a friendly price like that.

bats head looks rather stiff. i didnt c one pic w/ his head turned 2 the side. he's always looking straight ahead. although his eyes can look in diff directions.

Usually I'm not the one calling 'movie accurate!', but in this case, well, have you seen the movie? The cowl prevents him from turning/moving his neck. You can see it all though out the movie that Keaton has a 'stiff neck' in that suit. It had a great impact on his acting I find (and making him a bad ass batman!). So, I'm not surprised that the 12" figure can't do any 'rubbernecking'.

If you watch the movie you'll notice keaton rarly turned his head either and if he did it was very much.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the ears aren't going to be a problem getting him into the car because he won't be able to bend at the waste to sit in the car in the first place :gah:

I wonder if the Batmobile will be big enough for two figures? You could always use a female Blond Truetype for a Vicky Vale.

So far, I haven't seen many European shops that actually quote a price for these two. Usually, they just replace the dollar sign by a euro sign, but with these, even they must think that's a little harsh! I'm curious. Not least to see if I can order for a reasonable price!

Good thing you aren't the director. ;)

If Nolan didn't want that voice, he would have said so. They even manipulated it for TDK.

There were only a couple times I didn't like it, but it had more to do with the dialogue than the actual voice. Other than that, I thought it was great.

Not so different to 'The Animated Series'. ;)

And the voice debate rages on... Thank the lord for people like Sachiel.
