Yeah, the stock capes are kind of crappy, but I think they're passable if you mess with them long enough.

The 89 Batman of course has the most impressive and accurate cape yet, so I'm with you on that.

I don't want anyone to get me wrong, the HT TDK line is also cool, and his cape backpack is part of the movie so it's ok to display that way, but the stock capes have left a-lot to be desired and even the OC Ex still lacks in that department even with the improvements.

I too watched the original last night and didn't really like Keatons Batman. He didn't have alot of helpful gadgets and was pretty weak. The narrative was also screwed up since it didn't explain how he became Batman. But I am comparing to the reboot series so I guess I am being unfair. The Joker was brilliant however.

I don't think it needed to explain how he became Batman. You see the murder of the Waynes, the rest is implied. I prefer that approach in this case to having a drawn out origins story that spells it all out. I usually cringe now when I hear that a movie will be an origins story. What bothers me is that in the final fight, Joker says "I was just a kid when i killed your parents". How does he know who Batman is? I would think Jack Napier had killed many people who could have been parents. I guess he could just be saying anything to distract Batman, but that bit always jarred with me.

Yeah thats what I mean. Screwed up narritive. I also dont like that final fight because you see just how weak Batman is. he got his arse kicked by one of jokers minions

I hate this hobby. Just ordered him. That's five figures due Q1 on pre-order :(

Can anyone recommend a good dog food fit for human consumption?

I just eat out of my neighbor's trash can. I've only had food poisoning twice, so all and all it's a good system.

you miss the point. Burton's Batman was a character study that explored Bruce Wayne's mental health. he was vulnerable with a warrior's heart. as with the comics, there are many interpretations of the character...

Was just looking at the pics again and am totally blown away again. I guess to work the PERS the head is gonna be removable.

But he knows Kung-Fu!

What? It didn't need to.

We know the 'why' and that's good enough.

I prefer it when a movie explains its characters in more depth. You both have good points but im still dissatisfied. I really like the look of this figure but if I dont like the movie character, I dont get the figure.

Well even though it's never stated out right, I believe the Wayne's were a mob hit. I mean Napier's a young guy, probably just starting out in the mob and was told to kill Thomas and Martha Wayne.

It definitely wasn't a robbery and Napier's partner looks shocked when Jack shoots the both of them. Just look at the way they're dressed, certainly not petty, street thugs.
