Will be an awesome and intimidating presence on our shelves, as Batman should be.
Yep. This with be the centerpiece for me. As much as I'm blown away by Joker, Batman is just...well, he's Batman!

Deduction dear Watson. Jack would've easily put 2 and 2 together. Bruce knew who he was. He knew he killed the Waynes in an alley. He knows Batman's well funded with all the "wonderful toys." He might've also recognized Bruce that close given he'd already had encounters with him. Joker was crazy, but FAR from stupid.

But could he perform pencil tricks
Hand-buzzer deepfry > Pencil trick.
Uncle Bingo Quill > pencil trick too.
What would be the copycat scene of that though? Nolan copied the board room meeting (handbuzzer/pencil trick), so would that be the "It's not about the money." scene?
Not so much a copycat scene, as much as it was a cooler way to kill a guy.
Im posing mine like this, or when he has the cape folded behind his shoulders, like the picture with the batmobile next to him.
They will when they make the 2.0
No im just playing, i dont think hot toys will make a 2.0, because theres nothing they could add or improve on this figure. He comes with everything he used in the movie. Im acutally surprised that they didnt show pictures with him holding the batarang.
Unless they're adding it later, I think HT missed the gauntlet palm spike thing he uses against the acrobatic guy in the church. I'm not sure if I would ever even use the thing, but they did include the shurikens that he never used lol.
I watched the movie last week on blu-ray for the first time and slowed down that segment as slowly as I could because I never really understood what Batman did exactly. He gets him right in the crotch...
But how does The Joker know that Batman is Bruce Wayne? He just says, "You killed my parents". Jack could have killed any number of parents in his time. I suppose it could be that it was the only time that Jack killed a pair of parents in front of a kid, but in any case i think what throws me is that there is no moment of realisation from the Joker, i.e. OMFG that little kid whose parents i offed when i was a young man is now Batman! Anyway, i like the mob hit theory, makes sense.
Well what about Batman saying "Excuse me, have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moon light", in his regular Bruce Wayne voice at the Cathedral before he punches The Joker in the face? Remember the Joker said the exact thing to Bruce Wayne before he shot him at Viki's apartment.
So from Joker's point of view,
- Batman just stole my line, a line that I sometimes use before I kill someone. How would he know, I've never said this to him.
- Weird, his voice changed he sounds like that _____, Bruce Wayne.
- What did this crazy son of a _____ just say? I killed his parents, what?
- Oh wait, "he repeated what I just said, sounds like Bruce Wayne and even though I was younger, I do remember knocking off Thomas Wayne and his broad.
- LOL, I better just go along with what this nut says and get away before he beats the living crap out of me.
The Joker just put two and two together. Initially he really doesn't have the slightest clue of what Batman is "talking about". After all he just got punched in the face by a gloved fist, had his head smashed into a bell, thrown through an old, splintered wooden wall, and nearly broke his hand punching Batman's chest.
He puts it together and decides to start backing away.
