Where did that pic come from, MaulFan? That looks amazing.

Just cropping and lighting some of the official pics in ways I'd photograph the figure, helping me cope with not being able to take my own shots yet :lol, plus I really believe in shooting '89 Batman a certain way and I just don't think any of the shots HT did use the right lighting, they show off figure details well but they don't have the cinematography of the film to them.

They did a great job making it look like there is a full head sculpt under that mask.

I can't believe they passed on the opportunity to take shots of him throwing the batarang or have his hand outstretched with the gauntlet mangler.

Dang. Fantastic job. I thought it was a completely different photo. This is gonna be one fun figure to shoot, ya know.

Yup, I had fun with my Sovereign Batman, but that figure had limits that this does not, particularly, one set of hands in one position, but also, fixed eyes, one mouth and no weapons, this has it all. And finally I'll have a Joker to pair up with too.

You got that right. This thing has got crazy range compared to any custom I've ever owned.

That's the thing I don't get. Too many whined at the price of this but had no obligation to fork out $300 for a custom with no box and no accessories with a very unflattering stand.

OFF TOPIC QUESTION: What happened to the Batman Begins Exclusive Figure thread?

Buttmunch closed it 'cause it was descending into crap. In his opinion. I thought it was no more crap than any other DC thread, and infinitely less crap than the Reeve Superman thread.

They have multiple shots of the gauntlet, just no Batarang. While the lighting is good in HT's product shots, I feel like a lot of figures aren't show off for the full range of things they can do, either with intent or lack of creativity on the photographer's part. Nicholson Joker shows off a really nice range of articulation which is rare.

Someone else was taking commission for some, a run of 10 or so at that price. I was very interested until I found out the price and what you were getting. I passed. As I knew at some point we'd be here.

It looked better than Soverign. Or at least the headsculpt. Just a figure though. No extra hands, no weapons or accessories, plain box and regular stand not even Hot Toys style.
