Someone else was taking commission for some, a run of 10 or so at that price. I was very interested until I found out the price and what you were getting. I passed. As I knew at some point we'd be here.

It looked better than Soverign. Or at least the headsculpt. Just a figure though. No extra hands, no weapons or accessories, plain box and regular stand not even Hot Toys style.

I haven't followed the folks doing them, the customs are all flawed in some way but I liked the head on mine better than others I'd seen so I wasn't going to spend money again on a figure. This HT is just what I could want in every detail so I'm totally happy with what I'm getting.

They have multiple shots of the gauntlet, just no Batarang.

No, not the steel gauntlet used at the museum. I know they have multiple shots of that one. I mean the other gauntlet, the extendable gauntlet mangler that he uses against the thug at the Cathedral. They could have included shots of that and the Batarang.

AM I missing something, I don't think the figure comes with that.

I can't figure out what the thing to the right of the batarang is.

They even gave him the palm hand for it.

I never noticed excatly how that device appeared, still don't even get how it works, it was the only odd gadget.

I wish they did alternate ends to his gun like the ball-rope thing he fires to tie Joker to the gargoyle.

My biggest problem with the Keaton Batman, just from looking at the pics on Youtube and this site that I've seen, is that his mask (and body) don't look rubber at all. It looks like his whole suit is made of a tough, rigid material -- like ceramic or fiber glass -- thus making him look like more of a statue. Anyone else feel this way?

No one else thinks the cowl looks distinctly non-rubbery, and thus a bit distracting?

My favorite part of the headsculpt is the work on the eyes, they really make it look like the cowl is removable and there'd be a Keaton head beneath.

Yeah, it's a really quick edit.

If you have the comic book adaptation of the film they really show what it does. Basically the thug is doing those flips, coming at Batman full speed with these spikes on his shoes, ready to impale Batman. This device shoots out from his gauntlet (it's an expendable gauntlet) and knocks the thugs blades inward and pushes him away, probably breaking his foot.

In the movie, and I don't know if it's intentional or frames were removed but it looks like it pops out and hits the thug right in the balls. You see him there withering in pain, then passed out.

Well when I watch the movie, it's so fast, I though he just was wearing a special glove that could stop a blade, I never noticed it being an extended device, and for some stupid reason I sold off my trading cards long ago so I didn't have that reference.
