89 Batmobile remains my most anticipated.

I understand though, even my own Batman only collection plan fell apart due to finances.

First I sold most of my 1/6 collection for my only Batman plan.

Got the EB 1/4 BM.

Then I sold BB TF (but kept the 1/6 89).

Got the Tumbler.

Cancelled the DX12 and Batpod (lost my nrd).

But will NOT cancel the 89 car nor the 1/4 TDKR, although the latter still looks like ass last I checked.

Sounds like you're gonna end up with just the 1/4 Begins Batman and 1/6 Keaton Batman and the '89 Batmobile! Best of the Nolan world and best of the Burton world as far as Batman collectibles go, in my opinion.

Depending on how it turns out, are you planning on Returns Batman (1/4 and/or 1/6)?

Like I said, I'll be pissed if the Keaton Bruce Wayne is included with the 1/4 and not the 1/6. I could see them doing weird **** like the DX 12 TDKR and QC 001 Batman and make them virtually similar except the accessories they come with.


I wonder if this '89 version will get a 1/4 "bic boi" release? Nicholson too.

Sounds like you're gonna end up with just the 1/4 Begins Batman and 1/6 Keaton Batman and the '89 Batmobile! Best of the Nolan world and best of the Burton world as far as Batman collectibles go, in my opinion.

89 Batman in 1/4 is instant purchase.

Returns 1/4, if with Keaton, would also be an instant purchase.

W/o Keaton head and torn cowl, not so certain since I prefer 89 over Return.

I gotta admit, a 1/4 Batman suit display would be pretty epic. 1/4 '89 Keaton Batman, 1/4 Returns armor version, 1/4 Bale Batman Begins and 1/4 TDK armor version.

Then both of their corresponding 1/6 Batmobile's above/below that.


1/6 '89 Batman would be fine as a standalone piece.

If the QS 001 sees some improvement, but I digress...my plan is to have the QS 001 with the Bane and Joker masks on one side, and the EB Bats with the Scarecrow mask on the other. As far as Returns goes, it really all depends on how impressed I am. As others have said, 1/4 89 would be inst-bought.

Well, I've just watched Returns for the second night in a row. I watched Rises the night before but it prompted me to watch this the next night, and then again tonight. Definitely my favorite Bat film. So, a Penguin from HT is a must, and yes, it may be the best Bat film figure they do. A Catwoman has to come in clean and battle damaged versions. And Bats himself, in a torn cowl with Keaton HS.
Now, it just occurred to me tonight, that what we get here IS a BatPod emergining from the (definitive) Batmobile. The vehicle in the Nolan films is really a Bat Cycle !
Oh, so many opportunities from this one ....
Ok, next up on blu, it's The Dark Knight Returns part 1 for me.

I have all three Nolan's on blu, but I have the 5 disc blu ray triple bill ordered from Amazon.

Also hoping that I'll be ordering a Returns Keaton Bats, Catwoman or Joker before Christmas !!

Do you mean the entire Batmobile with the feature or just the Batmissile pod itself? I could see just the missile pod, but the entire thing? That would be pretty complex and complicated. I know Hot Toys has done Iron Man, but this thing would be a QC nightmare.

Yup! Just the missile. A companion piece to the 1989 Batmobile like the Bat Pod is to the Tumbler

Yeah, I don't want to highjack this thread, but, as far as features go, that figure is the crème de la crème . There is literally every single feature I could possibly want in a Batman figure in that release. 4 heads, 3 faceplates, PERS, Sonar LEDs, a ton of accessories, a fabric suit, die cast belt and accessories. The problem, though, is that the quality of the big things, like the heads, PERS, and faceplates, isn't up to par with the quality of the others. Suffice it to say, if the 1/4 Returns can successfully combine the shear quantitative quality of the QS 001 with the overall quality of the 89 Batman, that thing will be a beast.

Then there's the 1/4 version of him to take into consideration. No matter how good it is, it'll be an insta pass for me. They better not include the Wayne head and torn cowl with the 1/4 but not the 1/6, that would drive me nuts.

I think if they're planning a Keaton head, you'll see it on both versions. Just look at the DX12 and 1/4 TDKR Bats. They're identical to eachother in terms of accessories (with the exception of the bases).

A Catwoman has to come in clean and battle damaged versions.

I'm hoping both looks will be included in a single release. She really doesn't have any other accessories besides the whip, so HT will have to give us alternate clothing sets and heads to make the package worth spending $200+ on.

You. The release of clean and BD Luke has given me hope that the Catwoman will be a twin pack. I know that there were four stages, but the first and last would be great.
