T4>T3 in my book, T3 turned terminator into a joke, to much cheese and a lame story. T4 gave us a cool T600 at least, story was average with a lot of holes but was overall entertaining, it just lacked the big war scenes I was hoping to see.

I hated that scene, I knew from that point on the movie wasn't gunna be good, I was right. The fight scenes with the TX were so bad, I'm just going to stop now cause I could right a book on whats wrong with that movie, not that T4 was a jem or anything but they really took that cool vibe out of terminator with T3

On the other hand, I can forgive T3 some of its faults because it didn't try to take itself all that seriously. T: Salvation pretended to be this epic dramatic Terminator film, but was just average and forgettable at best. . . . .I can't believe I'm sorta-kinda defending T3 here.

I can't believe I'm about to defend TS, but I feel it had a few things going for it. I've mentioned them already. Mainly Anton Yelchen. I don't recall T3 having anything going for it. Not taking itself seriously isn't something I feel we should commend a Terminator film on.

T3 was just a payday for Arnie and that's it.

I thought Anton Yelchin was an Awesome young Kyle, and got his mannerisms down pretty good.

I though the the exact opposite - I thought he was the wrong fit completely.

He was good in Star Trek though..

You know, a Terminator wouldn't know the first thing about fashion and wouldn't be concerned about appearances, so I didn't have a problem with it. I thought that fact (apart from it's visual absurdity) was what made him more like the T1 Terminator. The fact that he recognized they were absurd and stepped on them only to put "cooler" ones on was what I had a problem with. That and looking for the keys under the visor.

I thought that was a different Terminator...

This is one reason why putting that gag in was a terrible mistake in the first place.

Good post. T4 wasnt all that good but I didn't think it was as bad as everyone told me it was.
And its certainly better than T3 by a mile.
