;)

I swear he's a young John Goodman, reincarnated. :lol

I watched T3 in the theatre twice. It was basically, "Cool! Arnold's back as the Terminator again!" That's basically all there is to like about that movie. Watch Arnold do some Terminator stuff in a non-cannon popcorn flick.

TS had potential but it didn't quite come together and pull off something great. I was willing to stay with it and see what the next movie would bring, but that was the end of that. My biggest annoyance was the T-600s. I think TSCC showed the T-600s much truer to Reese's brief explanation.

Yeah, I kinda agree for the most part.

Some of the visuals were great though, like when John drops the beer bottle into the water while sitting on that bridge - then it goes into that future war sequence. The T-800s walking around looked ****ing sensational. :rock

I'm all for women action stars as much as the next person, but I could never accept the 'follow on' vibe with the TX.

I drop out as soon as she's on screen. :lol

I haven't seen TS in a long long time. What were the T-600s again?

Agreed. I hated how the future wasn't as nearly as nightmarish as Cameron showed.

Yeah T3 was an insult to T1 and T2 but I agree TS had potential but sadly after seeing the movie it left me feeling nothing for it.

Sadly the magic of T1 and T2 will not be captured on film again in my opinion.

Was TS not suppose to be the start of a new trilogy?

I thought that.

It will be interesting to see if he will return in the future with Arnie coming back to the francise.

Bale, Worthington and Bonham Carter all did nothing for me in that movie. My stand out guy from the movie was the young Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) that was a great bit of casting.

I thought T3 was ok. It was a pretty good action film if you took out the word Terminator from the title. I think we judge it so harshly because it has to measure up to T1 and T2 which as we all know were masterpieces. The bar was set to high. Still T3 is an enjoyable romp if you turn your brain off.

TS I hated because it was nothing like the future war scenes depicted in T1 and T2. I was also really pissed that the first 3 movies showed how useless non plasma weapons were against the Terminators to only have an entire move where stranded assault rifles were capable of wrecking machines.

Man, that kid playing Reese sure does get a lot of love. I thought he was way too wimpy for the role personally. Its been awhile since I seen Salvation, but I don't remember him standing out in a good way. Just my opinion, but if you guys liked him, then I have no problem with it. Biehn was a bada$$ MF in Terminator, so casting a younger version of that would have been difficult, no matter who they got.

That was a major bug of mine. The future scenes from the originals especially T1 really painted a grim future with rubber machines infiltrating human bases and causing havocwas a sight to behold on first viewing.

T3 nor TS came close to capturing the scary villain element from the original two like Arnie in T1 or the rubber Terminators, or the cold ruthless T-1000 from T2.

I think T3 and TS really suffered from not having a convincing scary villain.

Well, I think they didn't want to start the world off in complete rubble. I'm sure if there had been more movies that we would have seen a world closer to Cameron's flash back scenes.

Yeah I think that would have been explored more in other movies.

As for the young Reese he didn't blow me away with his performance but I enjoyed him the most in TS. To me he was a believable and convincing young Reese but as you say Biehn was great in T1 and that character will forever be associated with him.

I that the guy from the Crazies movie a-dev?

If so then I can see were you are coming from but I think he would have been to old for the age Reese is suppose to be in TS but maybe in the new Terminator movies.

Tis. Also that show 'Justified'. And he was in Scream 2 way back.

Man I can't remember that although I haven't seen the Scream movies in years so I will keep an eye out for him nest time I view it.

I would have no problem seeing him portray Reese in a future Terminator movie.

I doubt he'd go for it though. Terminator is done basically and he's been on the up. Let alone the fact that they probably wouldn't even think of him.
