MMS02, their second movie-based figure. Their very first was Kyle Reese believe it or not.

It really is hard to believe considering where they're at now. Unfortunately I don't think Iron Man is going anywhere. Everything else seems to be slowly getting phased out.

I'm assuming the main buyer's of the Iron Man stuff is the Asian market. They seem to go BatS*it crazy for Iron Man.

Honestly, I defended Hot toys at first with them making a number of Suits from a business stand point, then I found out they wanted to make all 42. Not to mention, 2 different versions of Tony Stark, and some dude that walked on screen for five seconds.:thwak

Exactly. Kinda feels like they wouldn't touch Kyle Reese now, and yet he was the first movie character they ever made? Weird...and saddening. I haven't given up hope completely but I'm planning my customs just in case.

Yeah, Kyle Reese needs to be remade. Not even that, but give him his trench coat look like he had for, I dunno, about 98% of the movie!

It a lot of ways It's a curse that Hot Toys got so popular with Marvel and the Dark Knight licenses, cause now it's all about New blockbusters, and we won't see very many Classic characters anymore. I'm hoping some company will start picking up these classic liscenes and making some quality figures.

Anyone know why Blitzway is only doing Pacino stuff?

They're a new company, so market differentiation would likely be the initial reason - there are a lot of Pacino fans out there who haven't been well serviced by the other companies. I'm sure Pacino does not feature heavily in their mid/long-range planning though.

They are doing a really good job for a new company. Yeah, I'm a Pacino fan myself, however, not a huge Scarface fan.

It'll be interesting to see some of the other characters they are able to tackle.

To be fair i never said i'd be upset i said it'd be a sad day

Do you have to know a person to respect them and respect the things they've achieved and given

Yeah that'll be 'upsetting' insofar as one can get upset about the death of someone you never knew personally.

The sarcastic tone you presumably took from my post was not intentional. Someone else seemed to read it that way aswell so I don't blame you.

At least the female population of the world will no longer have to worry about his wandering hands. :wink1:
