What do you guys think; does Hot Toys not make enough of their figures? I can't believe this figure is pretty much gone already?? Same thing happened to other HT figs recently, like Hulk & Blk Widow. I managed to grab those though. Just seems like HT is shooting themselves in the foot by not making more product? I'm on the wait list for this piece, I guess I'll see what happens. Might just wait for the police shoot out T1 fig that I hope they make. Just seems strange to me...?:dunno

Well there's a couple of things going on with this release, one thing is this was likely one of the most antisapated terminator release in the past few years, the one everyone was waiting for, so with that there was a year to pre-order it so if you really wanted it you should always pre-order.

There's always a chance for a second batch to be produced, they have done that in the past with popular releases but not so much lately, likely do to tons of figures in production, even a bunch that have been bumped ahead of schedule by several months.

The other thing I noticed on this release has a lot of people who are not even fans are buying the DX13 just because its a hot figure, well done, highly praised and all that so that has contributed to the lack of stock available and also people buying multibles to achieve the second look.

In the end you had a year to pre-order and a month of it being in-stock just to grab at your will, beyond that its you snooze you lose:nono

Got my replacement today. Was quite surprised with what was included. They shipped it out in the DX13 box + brown shipper itself with everything minus the heads, hands, T-1000 and the base (but oddly included the crotch grabber).
They gave me a full body with clothing and even all the weapons and the endo arm.

Was told to only send them a picture of the nude body destroyed which I'm going to have to do now. :(

But I'm pretty happy none the less that they basically sent me a free second DX13. All I need to grab is another nude body after I destroy the old one to have my second figure completed.

What was wrong with the body that you needed a replacement?

Broken peg. Snapped off when I was swapping the normal arm to the Endo for the first time. With only half of it there, whatever arm attached to it was fairly loose. Heard there were a couple of other members that had this issue as well. Not sure what went wrong, but the peg broke off pretty easily. Didn't use any force outside of the norm when pulling off the arm as there wasn't any restraint when trying to do so.

Excellent pics. Not remotely accurate but who cares.

This is why I haven't posted many shots, I just can't seem to make it look that good. That Pescadero shoot of mine has ruined me. I feel like if I can't match that again I don't want to even bother.

That's where I say that those figures don't need to posed in the most accurate way. Of course it's great to pose the original fight in all it's glory, but this way the how fight could've unfolded is great too and just presented so like like, speaking of posing them.
I especially like the one where the T-800 is dragging the 1000 to parts unknown (maybe toward the smelting pool, having acquired another human piece of speech: "Come here, you little...").
:lol
