Well there's a couple of things going on with this release, one thing is this was likely one of the most antisapated terminator release in the past few years, the one everyone was waiting for, so with that there was a year to pre-order it so if you really wanted it you should always pre-order.

There's always a chance for a second batch to be produced, they have done that in the past with popular releases but not so much lately, likely do to tons of figures in production, even a bunch that have been bumped ahead of schedule by several months.

The other thing I noticed on this release has a lot of people who are not even fans are buying the DX13 just because its a hot figure, well done, highly praised and all that so that has contributed to the lack of stock available and also people buying multibles to achieve the second look.

In the end you had a year to pre-order and a month of it being in-stock just to grab at your will, beyond that its you snooze you lose:nono

Yeah, I guess you're right. Just feel a figure should last at least 3-6 months before "selling out". And, it's just been a tough year $. I should have more in 2014 to spend. But, I guess I really wanted a T1 Terminator anyway, so if my wait list doesn't convert, so be it.

So guys. Here´s the pcicture set I told you from

Can´t stop looking at those pics

I think they´re the best of DX-13 so far, so life-like and full of atmosphere:

Yeah its a tough time of year for a release with the holidays and all, I need to hunt down another set or at least some parts to be satisfied with what I have for the dx13. Some figures stick around for years, others months and some like this will set out at release, all depends on supply and demand. The demand for this piece is extremely high and with photos like whats just been posted its no wonder why, those are amazing:clap

It cannot be displayed by itself without the T-800, and even then looks hokie when it is.

At least the jail scene could be used....

I respect your pov. But It's not supposed to be displayed by itself. The figure is t800 and this is an extra that they provided to be displayed WITH the figure not stand alone. Dont you think they would want to probably provide a stand alone figure as a t1000 supplement and not a t800 supplement. Long answer short, it's intentionally meant not to be displayed stand alone. Stand alone was not the objective for them at all and it would be too much for us to ask a stand alone figure, two head sculpts, two jackets, bd arms, loads of accessories etc for the price they gave at :(

I think the figure dx13 would sell as good as it did even without the t1000, it was nice to provide the t1000 as an option! I actually thank them for that :( as it really was an iconic fight sequence between the two! And could be produced still keeping prod cost low :)

Is this sold out at Sideshow? I went to order it and can't even find it on their website anymore? I thought some were still available when I checked it out just before Christmas when the 15% code came out.

Both are waitlisted I believe. You can check AlterEgo. They had them in stock about 2 weeks ago.

That usually means the waitlist is up or it is sold out. Do a google search for it: battle damaged t-800 sideshow. AEC has 1 left according to their site.
