Just ordered and it's not IRONMAN ha ha ... Lets hope he home in time for xmas. Very suprise p.o was today and not thursday.

Honestly didn't expect him at that price... Threw $20 in reward points at him and got him in at $210. Not bad with today's MMS prices!

Sallah

I'm gonna order this but the accessory wise, this is way less than a typical MMS. This has even less accessories than the bruce lee casual outfit! If the price was 199.99, it'll be perfect. :(

He's short on accessories, but DAG! I want this!!!! OR-DERED!!!!

The ***** indeed mightier than the sword!

On the fence about this one. Got a po email from bbts thinking it was a ht po for mos or im3 and jumped on it only to find it was for this. What a strange announcement especially since the other Nicholson Joker is still readily available. I was hoping for more variety in the DX line.:dunno

Its high time Hot Toys included backgrounds and a decent base with all its figures considering that they are providing less and less accessories.

Just so you guys know, BBTS says they have a limited amount of this figure, and they have a 2 per person ordering limit. Maybe it means nothing, but I've never seen them say that for a HT figure, so if you want it from them, it might be best to preorder early.

I'm completely with everyone else excited for this, it's going to really stand out on display and when posing and stuff.

But he barely comes with anything

Wolverine is $234.99. Includes 4 extra hands, a light-up base, and a standard MMS base. No PERS. Standard MMS.

Joker is $229.99. Includes 4 extra hands, a large DX base, backdrop, hat, 3 feathers, and has PERS (plus a more layered outfit).

Judging by current Hot Toys pricing on MMS figures, I expected this to be higher... I know it doesn't come with much- But when MMS figures are sometimes coming in at $225+ (and diecast figures with minimal parts at $300+), I thought just having PERS alone would put him at $250+, given the new MMS pricing. Pleasantly surprised to see him at MMS level (even below compared to Wolverine).

So can we expect a DX08 2.0 with a repaint of this head in 2014 then?

It really is a great head sculpt.

Guys screaming $230 like this is a bargain- my have times changed- remember the prices for DX01 and 02???? We choked at $160 then........
so if you call this a "bargain" more power to you!

I am curious about BBTS limiting to 2....odd

They stated that Side Show has been limiting its retailers orders so they are not able to order as much in addition to cutting back on as their retail discounts all the more reason retailers are reducing the quantity they usually order.

I hardly doubt that this will be as popular as the first as the original Jack can still be found readily. My assumption was that most people prefer the TDK Joker to this also once the see Hot Toys commitment to the license with more characters i.e. Catwomen and Penguin we can see and uptick in sales.

Let's face it, if this was a regular MMS without the PERS it would still be $200, probably like $210.

And people would still be *****ing.

That's what makes the Mark 7 the last of good thing even that over priced repaint can't compete with all the accessories that come with the standard release.
