This figure looks really classy. But it is a poor choice of release.

You couldn't describe it better. I am totally agreed, even though all is a matter of taste...I don't be excited with Classic (89, Returns) releases, but of course this is my opinion :peace.

I hope we get a Mob Joker before we get a Museum Joker... I want a black burned skeleton wearing a tie on a chair as accessories., hahaha!

I just want that damn flesh face and joy buzzer. The joy buzzer hand and maybe the boxing glove gun or flare pistol are the only accessories left that the Joker could utilize in a set.

The gangster look with the pinstripes and regular tie would also look killer in this scale as well.

Why is it a poor choice? Because you don't want it? You think every release should be something you want? I don't like Ironman or Nolan batman, but I could give two ****s how much product comes out with them. I'm glad the fans of those can have tons of awesome items.

Sure HT announced other lines but I don't think many complainers realize what kind of hoops a company has to go through to get something signed off for approval. Take Prometheus, they could be waiting on approval from actor, who is busy making other movies, traveling the world for press, banging random whores, not sitting st home waiting for HT paperwork. Also HT could just be thinking it might not be worth it after this time. The movie left a bad taste in a lot of people, and they are still ripping it apart.

It's the main thing that makes me dislike this hobby. The if I don't like it, it should not be made mentality.

Yeah, we should have gotten a 6th TDK Joker instead or another Bale Batman.

It's a minor costume appearance from a performance I'm "eh" on from a movie I'm "eh" on as well. I'm the target market for hating this.

It's a strange choice for a DX, bordering on bad.

But it looks fantastic. And that's all it should boil down to. The Jack / 89 fans should be ecstatic, because this looks great, and will look even better displayed next to 08 so the color contrasts pop even more.

I'm with the group here. It looks amazing and really well done but REALLY?

How about working on getting those OTHER figures we've been expecting instead of this? First Class figures? Prometheus? Every line that everyone has already mentioned.

My guess is Hot Toys is trying to maximize on the Jack Nicholson likeness. So I wouldn't be surprised if we may be seeing one or two more Burton Batman figures coming out before they start on Batman Returns.

I'm good with that as long as they make some kind of a standalone Keaton Wayne figure. 24 years and still no figure of just Wayne.

Aside from that Kenner custom coupe figure. Wasn't bad in its day.

Yeah, still one of my favorites. Great likeness for a 1990 figure.

Just bought the blu rays from amazon. Can't wait till I get them and have a 89 batman run.

Batman looks stunning on blu ray. Especially when you consider how old the film is. Returns doesn't transfer as well but still looks great, and definite upgrade from the DVD release.

I never even saw any merchandise from the Batman movie as a child. Saddest time of my life. :lol

For those complaining about the characters HT puts out, just be glad I'm not in charge. My release order would be: Arnold, Arnold, Batman, Arnold, Arnold, Predator, repeat forever.

Really? I would have said the opposite. The 89 negative seemed quite underexposed at times and grainy, and all the matte painting shots stick out like a sore thumb. Returns has some wonderfully detailed day for night scenes with Catwoman. Either way, I love both., but prefer Returns, as crazy a movie as it is.

I have that Bruce Wayne still, opened of course. Had Bob the Goon from Toybiz too, with his kicking action haha. Never had a Joker from the movie though. Maybe that's contributing to my endless need for '89 Jokers. :lol

That Kenner Bruce Wayne/Batsuit figure was one of my favorites when I was a kid. Pretty sure I still have it but I'm sure some of the pieces are missing.

:lecture Don't forget Rambo & Rocky 2.0 versions. Other than that it looks pretty good. Throw in a Blade 1 figure too. :D

Yeah I agree some of the faults do stand out more, but I remember a lot of grainy shots on the returns blu ray. Thinking on it I suppose they both have their fair amount of brilliant looking scenes and bad looking scenes. I mostly remember first seeing the joker and loving the detail and the way the colours in his face pop. Looked awesome. As for the films themselves, I think I prefer returns too, purely because I remember it coming out and benig crazy excited about it but being too young to see it at th cinema so having to wait for the VHS and then watching it Christmas morning. And then again just about everyday after. I thought it was the greatest thing ever.
