Actually, it could just be a sculpt so good that it damn near looks like real hair. HT is an amazing company.

Yeah, I don't see HT doing anything but sculpted hair on these. Really nice sculpted hair though. I'm more interested in seeing how well done the outfits and accessories are.

I figure whatever HT does it will be based on what hair would look best; be it rooted or sculpted. I think on figures with longer hair like Zira it would be difficult to get the hair to lay correctly. I of course could be wrong and I'm interested to see what they do.

Although on the more stylized Apexplorer figures they used hair and flocked material:

On the Apex figures I think that works and looks great but I wouldn't want a POTA figure if they did that. For me it just wouldn't look right.

For Chewy, yes. For the apes, NO. Those apexplorer figures are more caricatures than figures resembling characters.

Definitely. There's hope for that with this teaser pic if SS either works with HT or HT actually gets to make him. I'd prefer HT to just do it.
