My gripe is not just the proportions, but the suit needs to be overall bigger if Robert Downey's head is going to fit inside that mask. Just like Bale's headsculpt is realistically small compared to the TDK body suit to fit inside the cowl. (yes, I know they don't actually fit inside, but you know what I mean)

Downey's head isn't meant to go in the mask. It'll be an interchangable head. If they made the helmet fit over the head either the head would have to be waaay too small or the mask massive. Interchangable is the way to go.

IMO it's the most acurate comic to film conversion ever. The problem with HB is that he's a niche character that not everybody can understand and enjoy.

If only they make the base bigger and more sturdy looking instead of cheap plastic, then it would look much better. Oh well...i'll wait for something better come along.

OK... You do realize that pretty much every 1/6 scale figure company uses a base pretty similar (or worse -- I'm looking at you Medicom!), right? Seems like a silly reason to pass on a figure.

I have to agree, there wont be no better Iron man coming along. You'll just have to pony up, and buy or make a better base yourself. The base is the least wanted item, in my opinion, as I rarely use one myself, and it just adds cost and weight to the product, which I don't need or want. The base is just a token piece really, so it deserves to be insignificant.
