Brando rode a 1950 Triumph Thunderbird 6T in The Wild One. I am almost 99% sure it was red. It was his own personal bike, and had modified handlebars and passenger seat. Sadly the bike no longer exists.

James Dean's last bike purchase before his death was a 55 Triumph TR5 Trophy which he modified with upright handlebars, and a backwards facing passenger seat just like Brando's bike.

These are shots of the actual bike from the movie. I am not entirely sure what happened to it, but the word is it was totaled in a wreck and scrapped.

This is James Dean's Triumph Trophy. It was sold shortly after his death, but a few years ago some family members managed to buy it back and restore it.

I did look for a Thunderbird with no luck, but when I saw the Bonneville for £15 I decided it was close enough! I picked up the Ducatti 999 for Bruce for the same price at the same time.

No, I like it because it's a great figure. The ciggy is just cute cause it's so little. Besides, cigarettes didn't kill him, speeding did.
