You're not locked in with them? I was thinking of that but wasn't sure if I could cancel my order if I found a better deal.

Guys just wanted to give you a heads-up...confirmed with eric he'll be getting the 10th anniversary exclusives. Release date/price undetermined, but toys2 is usually 'msrp'. Happy holidays. :)

Now this I can live with!

I know you guys said that other site was trustworthy, but for some reason im still skeptical...:dunno

To be honest though, all I really want is the head sculpt. I want it to use for my "Thriller" & "Motown 25" look

The Price slowly increases each time a new one is put on ebay, and still selling, well im glad i got one for 250$.

Got my order confirmation from amiami.com, didn't like the price, but at least I can stop streeing so much.

I wonder if we'll get an "Off the Wall" Micheal with the afro and tux look?

I am telling you, No need to be skeptical of amiami. They have helped me get some great items in the past. As I stated before, I have never had any issues with them. Always a good experience with amiami. :)

I took a look over at the amiami site as well.
As far as i can see it totals:
- figure $250
- shipping $30 - $40?
- And... * We won't mark "Gift" or undervalue your items with shipping documents.

I dont know how US customs works, but here in The Netherlands that means trouble. Any parcel that has a noted value of over $28 is subject to import taxes (no escaping). The value is determined as value parcel + shipping. Import taxes are about 25% + $17 for administration. Best case scenario for us $280 + $70 + $17 = $367.

Again, i don't know how US customs works or how high the import taxes are. But it could be worth checking out to find out if you're going to have to pay extra for this figure.

gotta pay to play

4,000 of these are being released. Prices are gonna stabilize a bit as supply starts meeting (exceeding?) demand.

I don't think so... MJ is huge in Asia, and in Europe, so that'll keep the prices high... methinks...

Let's not forget that 'Beat It' is one of the most monumental video/song for even the casual MJ fan. The thing about it is that only the die-hard MJ fans will pay the price. So you have to ask yourself, are there enough die-hards who are willing to put out that kind of money AND who are savvy enough to find this figure.

I personally think the figures will all be bought up. The question is how long will they stay in the seller's hands before they finally decide to sell at a reasonable price. Some independent sellers can get very greedy and be unwilling to sell because they are stuck on the idea of getting big numbers. That's the real question. Will prices continue to rise because sellers are aligning at a high price?

I think there will be enough to go around. It's just a question of when the sellers will stop being stubborn.
