My 'Beat It' figured arrived today, and I'm proud to share some pics. Each box comes with a thin black cardboard Certificate of Authenticity. I chose to frame mine in a hovering frame. Looks great if I do say so myself.

So there's been a lot of question about the numbering up to 2,000 when there is 4,000 of the figures issued. I finally have the answer for everyone. Take a look at the pictures below and you'll find that every card says which event it came from, albeit the Tokyo or Honk Kong event.

I haven't taken a whole lot of time to figure out which pose I'm going to go with, but these are good enough for a few quick snaps.

My hand got in the way of the flash on this one, but I still think it turned out cool...

Now, I thought nothing could surpass the 'Bad' version, but this has to be my new favorite, and maybe only because it's new and I'm still friggin' giddy. Only time will tell. In hand, you'll be completely in aw of it. While I don't think the likeness is perfect, it's still pretty damn good.

Before anyone asks even though I've already said, I purchased mine off of ebay from a seller named 'Tokyohunter'. I ended up paying 398 shipped. I'm not ashamed to say I paid that price. I'm an impatient person, and I don't like playing the odds of fulfilling pre-orders. I hope everyone who wants one of these bad boys ends up with one, cause THEY.ARE.AWESOME.

It looks really great, that's definitely the best I've ever seen the figure look. I think I was completely wrong in my complaints about the figure before. There certainly room for improvement, as with most things, but these in-hand pictures are looking very good.

Are you going to try putting that head on 'Thriller,' that would be something to see...

Still no confirmation from amiami. I ordered one as soon as I saw the link, and it gave me a App. ID #,so I know it went through.

On the front page of amiami it says they're away for the holidays, from December 30 until January 5, that might have something to do with your trouble or maybe not...

I've been thinking some more about the edition size, and consider this--roughly 8,500 Sideshow Darth Vaders were produced. A bit over twice as many as this figure. And it is hard to imagine a more popular figure in this world than Darth Vader. Surely, more than twice as many people would be clamoring for that figure than MJ across the world. Still, it took Vader a good while to start increasing substantially in price.

Even less of the Storm Troopers were produced (7,500), and lots of Star Wars geeks bought multiples of those. And its price is, even now, only a bit over retail.

Just something to consider. . .

This question really interested me. I didn't switch the heads, but it interested me enough to open up photoshop and swap the faces.

In this first image, this is what it would look like if the 'Thriller' face was put on to the 'Beat It' body with the longer hair. Not too awesome in my opinion.

NOW...this is what it would of looked like with the 'Beat it' face on the 'Thriller' body with the shortened hair. Looks a hell of a lot better to me..

Wow...that face sculpt really should of been used for Thriller..

I wasn't impressed at all by the first pics and recent pics neither, but these pics from Kuzeh changed my view altogether, it definitely looks quite good now. What a difference really..wow.

I still think this is the best MJ sculpt they have EVER done, even better than Beat It.

Yeah, that one is so good, can't believe they changed it so drastically. I hope their Smooth Criminal version will be their best yet, it MUST BE!!!!
