Well, I'm a big Jackman Wolverine fan, so I have a bias, but I really feel this figure was worth every penny, it's been a huge joy owning it, I've gotten some really stellar figures this year, but this has been the most satisfying and enjoyable one of the year, I even take more joy from him than DX Joker, of course that figure might be hurt by the number of Jokers made and the frustrations of how all that was handled, but still.

I was thinking of making a YT vid when i get mine, with some baddass Wolverine music. (now what music to use)

:)

Origins had some moments of nice music, but overall, as scores, I've found the X-Men series a little weak, some really nice highlights, but I don't really care for any score start to finish, my favorite stuff is in X2.

I like what they're doing with Iron Man with the ACDC bits here and there. I think Wolverine could benefit from something like that.

Iron Man is a really nice soundtrack, even the score stuff i liked. What's good with Iron Man is that the music is used to support the character and his actions. The Wolverine score felt too much like generic super hero music, no distinct themes really, the music was there but it didn't feel like it had any great meaning or connection with the visuals. That's often a problem with superhero stuff, a lot of superhero movie scores seem like the filmmakers feel like the music should be almost like old superhero cartoons or something, the better ones actually sound like they ignore that it's a comic book film and just deal with using the best cues for storytelling.

I got mine today. Great figure overall. Had a little trouble with the left arm joint at the elbow. I had to take the shirt and jacket off and finally got it working properly. love the metal claws.

I had the same problem with the right arm joint. Had to take shirt and jacket off and pop it back in.

Yeah, I was concerned at first. I luckily have never had to return a Hot Toys figure and was sweating this one. I have been looking forward to this figure for a long time. Everything worked out though.

I'm going to stay away from SS 1/6 but I love Hot Toys and I plan on getting quite a few from them in the near future.

I enjoy them just as much as I enjoy my statues for some reason.
They are so well done. Much nicer then a lot of my PFs minus the scale for course.
The HT IM BD is a must have for me.

So, I got my figure yesterday, and already damaged it. I had a loose button and tried to fix it via crazy glue. All it ended up accomplishing was staining the shirt around the button and not fixing it. sigh... I guess I'll have to look at picking up a space shirt on ebay at some point.

What type of glue did you use? :monkey1

Yup, that's what he meant. I've been waiting on that one for a loooooooooong time now.

Really... I wouldn't think that figure would drive that much attention being the Mark III but.... oh well. I'm not getting it. I really don't like all the variants of IM, same reason I stayed about from Hulk Buster.

Its what I had laying around. After further consideration, I really should have given some harder thought to the type of glue to use before just jumping in. Oh well, I should be able to pick a new shirt for not too much, and the stain isn't really THAT bad, just a bit annoying.

Did it bleed the shirt or cause the color to spread or peel. So weird or was there excess on the shirt that ruined it. I would of thought crazy glue would of been safe but maybe there's a glue especially for cloth, I'm sure there is...

I think people want the BD moreso than the regular Mark III because it has improved features and accessories plus the possibility of a better paint job. I also think it would go better with the upcoming Iron Man 2 figures because the Mark III was left damaged at the end of the first movie.

Just my thoughts :D

No, it just looks like the area around the shirt is permanently wet, and its got a little big of white crust on it from where the glue dried. I put barely a drop on, so little I didn't even see it come out of the pen. It just got absorbed right into the shirt, and didn't even get sticky.
