So I got Wolverine today. Adding 4 bucks to expedite shipping was worth it. Shipped Friday and here Monday from Texas to CA.

Hastings didn't do much in the way of protecting the item during shipping... the box was only wrapped in shipping paper. :lol Still, the box was more or less fine. A little dinged on the corners, but nothing too bad....

What a great figure! I'll take some pics in the next couple of days but I gotta say I'm really impressed and very happy I bought this over a few others I was considering.

Kinda late in the game to pitch in with some pics, but here goes...

It's never to late to add some sweet pics bro!!!! Where'd u get the motorcycle?? I want to have that!!!!

It's a black GuiLoy Indian Chief 348 (1948). Very hard to come by with a reasonable price, but it looks very realistic in person.
I had a bit of luck last year and found one from eBay France, only 60USD shipped.

Here's some, but no stricktly black:

The silvery finished model was my second choise, but the black one cost less at the moment of purchase...
There are other manufacturers too who make the same kind of model, but GuiLoy is the only one who makes it mostly out of metal. Which in my book makes the GuiLoy model superior to others...

Thanks for the tips guys. Yeah, still not 100% either way on this one.

After looking at more pics, even tho I think this is still not 100% Jackman to me, it is 100% Wolverine, LOL. The jacket, t shirt and new body really sell this one to me, plus, I love the...simplicity of it. So I'm trying to track one down again. I'd buy from gohastings but I really hate paying tax on online purchases. That puts this one at $190, which just seem too much to me right now.

Basically after getting a jelly belly Bats, and an Iron Man that might be starting to fade I really want something to restore my faith in HT, LOL.

Great pics Elaman!

Easily one of my favorite HT figures even without being a great likeness of Hugh. Perhaps the X-Men Trilogy Wolverine will produce a better sculpt. :D

Is this speculation, wishful thinking, or did they announce a new Wolvie?

Hmm...even so, I like the jacket and jeans look more than the X-outfit. Never did care for those black outfits...just too blah for me.

Hopefully they can at least get to a cyclops. He'd probably be the only one that I'd buy anyway.

They gotta gives us Juggernaut ! As soon as they start hyping X-men we all have to bombard them with our demands! Dont let this chance slip away

We cant have another watchmen line again

Even an X-Men version Wolverine wouldn't be as interesting as the Origins figure.

Visually interesting, agreed, but of the two, I'd much rather Wolverine in his X suit.

As for the other characters, sure they're not as interesting to look at, but I don't think Aldo's all that unique either (I think the Pitt aspect played into that), or Sarah Connor. Hot Toys is sadly unpredictable when it comes to what's worth making and not. At HT prices though, I'd only buy X suit Wolverine, Toad and Victor Creed figures, after that, it quickly becomes maybe figures.

Just out of curiousity, which Creed? I'm hoping for an origins version. Visually he didn't look anything like Sabertooth but he had the attitude and that really sold me.

Generally a figure that may not be all that dynamic from a visual perspective can still be highly desirable based on the personality of the character itself... Just not sure that any other X-Men characters aside from Wolverine were able to show enough personality to be made as a figure... Professor X, Magneto and Jean Grey were all VERY bland looking but those are also the three characters, other than Logan, that were featured predominantly in the X films.... at that point it gets to slightly more minor characters in the films such as Nightcrawler, Toad and Sabertooth.... Anyway, I agree 100% with you, Sean. Wolverine will probably be the only offering unless HT throws us a curve ball.
