I wouldn't expect anything until it ships.

But with all the HT comments about how its changed, etc, I expected some kind of update with final, final pics.

Especially since they never showed the working tongue yet.

Hell, with Joker there are endless pictures presented. You think we could at least get a few more shots of this pivotal 'alien' creature.

Because of the confusion on whether this is the 'final' version or not, I have yet to preorder this figure. And I won't until I see what it is I'm getting.

What comments are you referring to because the only ones I've caught, we did get new photos to show off and I've gotten no impression of further changes after that.

I will still get it! Anything Hot Toys touches will must likely be the most accurate incarnation. I mean in the end, nothing is final untill release

It might just be my own confusion on the subject. Maybe these recent pics ARE the final product.

I guess I'll wait to see that HK toy shop that usually gets proto displays to see how it really looks.

Well I remember they made comments after the very first photos and toy show shots came out, then we got update pictures with the corrected hands, skull eyes, etc. and my impression was those photos were, "here's our corrected Alien", maybe more could be done before it ships but I'm not expecting it, I think what we've seen will be it.

Those are likely the HK dates, so Toys2 and Sideshow and other places will be like Dec/Jan. Not too bad.

I wonder how much of the paint dealing will come out in production.
