I think the figure will look great on the shelf for all intensive purposes... but that damn mouth just drives me crazy as a fan. I know there's lots if problems for the truly dedicated, but those don't bother me so much. But the front of the head and mouth/jaw really stand out to me though.

It might not be as bad as the V1 Joker in its inaccuracy, but it's close.

Absolutley great !!!

............WANT!

Nice to see in-hand pics.
The face still bugs the hell out of me, and I think it looks "fat", but hey, it's a nice alien, I'll get one when it's on clearance somewhere.

What does the materila feel like? Very rubbery and sticky, like the A3 alien?

The mouth. I thought I could tolerate it on the prototypes, but now that I've seen the in-hand shots, it's really, REALLY disappointing me. It's a shame because everything else on the figure looks technically proficient. I really like the paint apps and the articulation looks great.

ugh...

yep. hell of a price to pay for an action feature that belongs on a kenner toy.

what an ugly thing.
the mouth, the mouth...

feet, neck, head shape, head wires put into head instead of back - everything is wrong, everything out of shapes.
i wonder if the sculptor ever saw any of original alien images.

well, should be ok for children.

The only thing that will send HT a clear message is poor sales.
Like I said earlier, I can deal with any other inconsistencies except for the head. I actually prefer the bust over this. At least it didn't pretend to be accurate.

Why HT, why?

I'm really intrigued by this photo, I can't understand why there's a separation of neck and shoulders, every past HT Alien, as far as I know, has smoothly ran from head into body.

It's a pass for me. The head/forehead, mouth and jaws killed it for me. Maybe they'll update it in the future but this fell short...

I may actually grab the SSC Maquette if it kicks ass.

Maybe the figure utilizes different flexible materials for certain parts of the body? We've read that the body doesn't use the same rubber previously used on the older HT xenos, but looking at how the mouth opens, everything from the base of the neck up to the edge of the dome could be the old rubber material.

I'd like to know exactly what material the suit is made of. Vinyl?

:rotfl at Karnis.

Looks like the chest/ribcage is made of a harder material (plastic).
