suit yourself. but, this figure isn't really 1:6 either. just look at the comparison pics.
it is noticeably smaller than all of the ht aliens so far. when it should, if anything, be a little bigger.
i'd say ht's closer to 1:7 scale than 1:6. the medicom figure is closer to 1:8.

Well, if it's 14 inches, then it is true 1:6 scale.

Bolaji was about 7'2". Scale that to 1:6 and it works out to 14".

...now i wish i would've got that Sega alien when i had the chance. can't find it on ebay. how tall is it?

12 inches tall

The Sega statue is about the same size as the Medicom figure, i.e. around 12"

Just looking at the medi again, and he really is awesome. I've got to find the time over the holiday to fix his broken arm, and possible glue the fingers to be more representative of the film suit version. I really don't like all six fingers splayed out like that.

Any suggestions on what type of glue or adhesive to use for the fingers?

Glad to read this, as I just pulled the trigger on one for myself.
I'm curious about glueing the fingers as well.

Here's the Medicom with the Sega and the HT AvP:R Alien...

Medicom is so weird. They nail the proper size/height for their TDK stuff (Joker, TDK Suit Batman, Two-Face) but everything else is mini-me.

It's not just short either. The entire thing is small. Still don't get it. Their Alien looks so nice too. Shame.

This is still my favorite Alien "Big Chap" rendition:

If this were a poseable, 1/6 scale figure.. sweet lord.

Have these pics been posted? Guy on Toys Daily puts his Alien in some cool poses.

EDIT: Centrocal you beat me to it!

See the photos here: https://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-115127-1-1.html He gives a pretty comprehensive rundown (it seems. You'd have to be able to read the text) with screenshots from the film.

This one reminds me of the HT AVP Alien

Find yourself some 'Aquaseal Urethane Adhesive"... it's perfect for the elastomeric compounds used in 1/6 figures.

Sounds dumb, but I really like the display base and background. I wish all the figures had bases done like that and pred 1.
