Not surprised it doesn't, but I am a little bummed the base is lacking the cob webbing of slime like the prototype, that made it seem more like an Alien environment, but at least the rusting weathering is still there.
yeah i noticed that. should be a pretty simple custom job though. Not surprised it doesn't, but I am a little bummed the base is lacking the cob webbing of slime like the prototype, that made it seem more like an Alien environment, but at least the rusting weathering is still there.
Anybody know what cabinet hes using too ?. I think someone asks him the same question over there and he replys Ikea.
Those are Besta from Ikea, with additional glass shelves which are available. I have the Besta setup for my collection. They are a bit dark, I have the same color wood as the one shown. But there is a lighter color wood which might show a collection off more. I really need to get some lights in there. Search for my "shelves" thread. I love my setup.
Wow, I'm actually a little shocked by that. It's not as if these would have been hard to sculpt from scratch. But in some sense I guess it's similar to the way that movie model makers use parts from existing model kits to make new things. Just look at the Millennium Falcon.
not a $200 figure. but it's cool to see people still like it.for anyone that wants the original Kenner alien

in any case, you're better off getting the Halcyon kit and giving it a great paint app.
i think it's just a recast/replica of the Kenner figure. so, it's got the same articulation. But is it articulated?

ah yeah. i think the inner jaw is different too. did the tsukuda one have more articulation? That is a vinyl model kit made by Halcyon which was made by recasting the Kenner toy. The model has all the same detail and sculpting inaccuracies, and because it was cast in vinyl, it is slightly smaller than the original 18" Kenner toy. The only articulation is the shoulders.
i'm not holding my breath for a "v2".I might wait a while before making any purchases now with all this talk of a V2. It is possible.

this is probably all we're gonna get unless neca grows a pair and enters the 1:6 market.
