Actually, I'm partial to the Sideshow head, but I'm not defending that against the HT head like a dumbass, so that's a big fail there bub on all counts!

You could always buy a spare Terminator body from a Hong Kong seller who parts them out, and put Dutch on it, then recoup part or even most of the cost by selling the Dutch body.

I'd advise against that until having the T-800 in hand or seeing someone else do it first, there is a chance the Dutch head may not fit on the T-800 body, be a shame to spend the money and find out it won't work.

I thought about that, but then it would make predator seem even shorter

I find it a poor choice to jump on immediate HK sales. Typically, if there's any problems with a figure it'll be the first ones out of production, a lot of those sellers also can be tricky to deal with if you have problems too. I'd much rather wait to get one from a dealer I know I can rely on to support me if there's any problems with the figure.

we're 1/4 of the way through 2010 and this still stands as the figure I am most excited for. That being said, I'm still waiting for the domestic release..... I don't want my T-800 lactating oil all over the place.

Even regardless of an issue like that, I've had HT figures arrive with broken wrist pegs and things like that. I'm quite unimpressed with HT's direct customer support so for me, the only option to cover myself in the event of problems is a distributor that has pull and can get things done, which are Sideshow and Toys2. High end figures and statues shipping from accorss the globe and hand crafted will have potential for problems. I just don't trut that any old place to get their hands on early HK figures will cover me in any situation I could run into with the figures.

Well, I was just playing to the topical issue, but I couldn't agree more. I'm willing to wait for BBTS to get theirs and should I have an issue with what they send me it will be rectified.
