Great pix OMG, herewith a quick snap of mine....

This figure is almost perfect on every way except the not so articulate arms and the long legs, too dame long.

That jacket is amazing. The figure looks pretty terrific. I do have one thing that is bothering me and I'm sure to be stoned to death for saying but the legs look too long to me too. Proportions of most human figures from HT seem off to me. Same thing on Hellboy.

It just needs some good futzers. I don't know why but I keep getting the impression he's itching from a hair cut the way the jacket is sitting on those latest shots.

Looks like he's stiff as hell with porcupines down his back. Like a little boy thats just had his hair cut after school.

To me, the final product looks very, very close to that prototype...paint apps and all and really amazing....has Hot Toys ever taken fans behind the scenes of the factories they use for production? What's their secret?

In photos, they've shown the factory painters with buckets full of heads to be painted and being painted.

I'd say their secret is having their main artists local enough to oversea factory work, plus Hot Toys probably owns their factories or at least has a better situation than someone like Sideshow who's outsourcing labor to a foreign country. When your factory is domestic, you usually have a greater deal of control over the work they turn out. From what I've heard, most places outsourcing products like this have difficulties.

Small thing, and not a huge surprise, but glad to see the production jacket belt still hangs, that was another issue with the Sideshow jacket. Can someone with this in hand comment on whether there's a wire in it to help make it hang, I'm curious what their method is for achieving this.

After DX02, I think every reasonably requested addition to a figure is going to be done for awhile to make people happy :lol

I agree. If you look at the John Connor head they had things shipping before they caught the mistakes even with them in the same country. If it was in another country they would have gotten the entire shipment before they would have known. So Sideshow should have their stuff painted here in the USA to resolve this problem.

There's a reason many American businesses outsource production to foreign countries, and so long as the product they get back is acceptible in their book and they're not losing business because of it, they're not going to consider domestic factories.

Makes sense......! Thanks

That and Americans are just to damn big.

No wire but sewed to makes it looks like hanging though

This guy is awesome. I'm only gonna pass it up because I just bought Dutch from Predator, but once my budget clears he may be back on my get list!

I absolutely can't wait until mine arrives.
At least he won't leak oil or something
;)
