From what I've heard, most places outsourcing products like this have difficulties.

I hate it when Swedish companies (Or any other country known for quality products, like Germany etc) outsource their production to China.

Buts its another story with Hot Toys, as you stated earlier their entire production is done in China where the main artists can overlook the entire process. Besides, Hong Kong is not really, really China, the mentality difference is huge between the two.

Very nice figure

Only two things bother me.
1st I think the legs are a little too long.

2nd I find it a pity that in his jacket has no bullet holes.
This detail was not forgotten by Neca.

What would be the next figure 2 be released after this? apart from mech test tony.

Would it be between Sarah conner and DX03 Bad Mj?..

There's been some posts in this thread in just one day! :lol for people who haven't been able to keep up with it, in hand pics first appeared on page 317.

lol at the people trying to find flaws. The figure is tops. Nothing comes close.

:lecture

This is the perfection I have come to expect of Hot Toys.

Now...about my T1 figure hot toys...

Also, now that he's out, I wonder if this means the BD version will be shown soon.

I thnk it'll come out soon. You also don't want to flood the market with too much product so I think it'll be both soon but after this version is long sold out. The T-1000 will probably debut soon as well. You just can't have two of the same character competing against each other. It's also the same reason Sarah was released 2nd.

I would love to see an updated Endo next.

Actually Hot Toys factories are also in China. The biggest two factors are like MF mentioned the constant supervision by the artists themselves and QC. There are success stories in China and they are all created through migrating western mentality of quality and control through bringing staff from the head office into key positions on these Chinese factories. Hong Kong offices just have it a little easier by just travelling there on a weekly basis and that's what a lot of HK companies do.
Also many of the successful Chinese companies all started out like that. There are now many that have been influenced by the modern western drive for quality and standards but theme there are also the many inexperienced that just hack things together to make a quick buck as it has prooven to make money.

Realistically, the head is too small, or the body is too big, or both to be a 100% screen accurate representation of Arnold (especially in T2), but being that this is a Terminator character, I really don't have any problem with that. This thing is friggin' awesome!

Exactly. I think its both - seems to me based on the Dutch side-by-side shot that they used the Dutch head as a guide for the facial proportions - bad move IMO as I think those are off and that head is too small so likewise it looks to me like the T-800 one is also. You probably wouldn't fit the existing HT endoskull inside there.
And the body turns out too big aswell because of the clothes. However I think futzing with the jacket is going to help that situation. The way the collar has such a wide arc around the neck and doesn't seem to come close to touching the neck is a problem contributing to that small head look IMO. And compare it to the film and you'll find its not accurate the way it does that. I'm going to look to fix that straight away, I'm sure it'll be possible. Can't wait to get stuck into it.

You not peeved about the amount of blood on the endo arm? I know it bugged you with the neca.

Man the latest pic from folks are amazing!!!

The scaling down of things like the tshirts and weathering on the jacket is just mind blowing.

Loving the side by side picks with Dutch!
