Why does it take over a year for a re-paint though? It would be worth the wait if they actually modded it a bit with the cannons etc.

I'm actually not too bothered about that, makes it more afforable.

I'm betting The Bat won't ship till end 2013 maybe even early 2014

Nor am I. The longer it takes, the better. Gives me time to collect my pennies (all 47,000 of them, in this case).:lecture

It's not that it takes a year to do the repaint, it's that they only have so much capacity given the workers/factories they have, and they have their plate full up all the way until 2nd half of next year at this point

Guys in here must have a lot of disposible cash laying around.

My guess is 90% cancelation from this thread's preorders. I've been around long enough to notice that most people dump these vehicles as soon as they're asked to pony up.

No doubt- this won't be out till Fall 2013......??

So 66 Batmobile will be 4th qtr 2013 most likely!!!!

Hot Toys dropped the ball on this one. It needs the modifications of Bane's Tumbler in the film; all three Camo tumblers in the film are unique, make it like one of them.

People always talk about a figures head shape or eye sockets being too big or small, thus inaccurate. Well that ____ is minuscule compared to this, this Tumbler is not even in the new movie. They should just call it the "Batman Begins Prototype Tumbler", that's really what it is.

Hot Toys is getting lazy, greedy and too confident in their customers buying anything they make.

True, those sweatshop kids don't work for nothing anymore:lol

Ummmm...yes, it is. There are two other variants, but, as has been pointed out in this thread (and many others), this vehicle is not only present in TDKR, but also in what appears to be a very pivotal scene. :cuckoo:

Actually of the 3 tumblers, one is exactly like the black one, just in camo. It's the same one from Batman Begins ('does it come in black?') - this represents that one.

The other 2 do indeed have modifications and yes it would have been great to see one of those done.

Ok, well I didn't know. :monkey2

I still think it would've been a better idea for it to be one of the modified Tumblers.

S'okay, I just figured that you knew your stuff, judging by the fact that you referenced the multiple Tumblers. I partially agree with you regarding the others. This one definitely seems to be in one of the more pivotal scenes (as I mentioned before), but I'd be lying if I said that the HT "The Bat" chasing down the armored camouflage Tumbler (with the mounted gun) wouldn't look incredibly badass. :rock
