I have the mechanic and what I noticed is the legs on the body are very thin, this is obviously to accommodate the leg armor. A lot of people were wondering, why can't they make a fully removable armor suit for the figure. Now I see if they did that, the body would have to be ridiculously thin to maintain the proportions.

I also notice the arms are the standard size you expect because these actually switch out with the other light up arms which are much more solid feeling. Perhaps they should have also made switch out legs instead of the hallow empty armor. But they probably would need to add different pants as well

Just got one of these, no thanks to Mothers Crapment, but WOW is it cheap as *****k, in my opinion its way over priced, yes you get a lot but it's cheap feeling...

The base is fine, the bit that lights up, the rest, garbage, like something you'd get with a WWE cage playset.

The leg armor is cheap feeling and flimsy.

I don't know I've been dying to get one of these in hand for months and now I finally have it is just bleh... not worth the price, HT generally are way over priced but this is just... dunno, not great.

I expect it was blown up in your imagination and could never live up to the hype.
I got mine when they were first release and reckon it's the best Tony we have had.
And the parts and pieces we got as well were the icing on the cake.
It wasn't that expensive and we got a lot with it.

I feel it was expensive, as for the suit I think they are to skinny, if you put any IM figure beside the Tony there is no way he would fit, they need to be a teeny bit thicker to make it look like somebody is in there, MKIII looks about right, I dunno HT look amazing in pictures but once you have them in hand you feel how light and flimsy they are... for €270 I shouldn't have to be precious with something, should be made out of a harder plastic.

Nice to have with the amazing sculpts but I think I'm done spending some much on something that can easily break or your afraid to pose cause of cheap plastic.

Don't mean to piss on anyone who loves this, I do like it, just feel HT is starting to go a bit mad with prices for what you get.

I couldnt agree more. The figure its FINE, I did some mods to it and the body and arms dont have that gap in between and they seem to sit way closer to the body now. But the leg armr...sucks. Mine was from BBTS, MISB, and it had scratches and dings here and there, paint chips right out of the box. The matt feels cheap, and would much rather they done it gloss. Matt is FINE if they just painted it a bit better and somehow did not have those scratches all over the legs, foot, etc. I ordered another set from ebay, they are exactly the SAME QUALITY. DINGS, paint chips, scratches. Guise, look closer, you will find them.

hot toys have always been expensive since 1-2 yrs ago? so nothing new there. i agree their quality can sometimes be cheap but its still the best there is out there in terms of high end stuff and also in terms of iron men. and they won't be cheaper anytime soon. i think mk3 was way too skinny as were their older iron men models. the later ones are bulkier but still not bulky enough to fit a proper guy inside.

also if you want durability, you have to sacrifice quality and balance between both is very hard. i understand that they shouldn't scratch or break just by looking at them though (which some figures can give off that feeling!!).

Ah yeah I don't wanna rag on HT I just noticed the prices are starting to get worse when the plastic isn't getting any better, some worse (ASM), could be just the shops here...

2 years ago a MKIV was €200 and the very same shop had the MKVII for €350, thats some change.

If they mesh the III and VI-VII design they would have a realistic looking IM... same with the films, if you look at the behind the scenes when Rob actually has a prop suit on its quite thick but the CGI suits look like Robot men if you get what I'm saying.

You are perfectly within your rights to complain if you laid down your cash and feel you didn't get enough for your money.
I just meant that i bought four of these things and felt they were worth every penny.
And i have bought 9 of the headsculpts loose for customs.
My opinion is my own, and i respect the opinion of everyone who bought one(Or didn't buy one) to complain or rejoice as they like.
