Aha, great concept for a future plot twist lol ! Your the first person to notice the background, good eye !

Yeah, as for some reviewers on YouTube, I heard that they are sent figures for free so that's probably why they are, in a way, "sucking up" to the figure, saying how perfect and awesome it is even when there are apparent flaws, because that leads to sales and that reviewer will get more free stuff sent for them to review since they're, in a sense, helping with sales.

Question: I heard that the body has thinner legs so that you could slide on the leg armor. Is this true? Or can you slide the leg armor on a regular TTM body leg?

I don't mind anyone saying what they think about a figure. If they get one for free and gush all about it, that's cool too.
You have to make up your own mind and, most times, the review i am watching is a figure i have on order anyway(Or already have and i want to see what everyone else thinks).

I don't think it's any thinner than normal TTM legs.

^^^ Thanks. I was thinking about putting an armored leg on my custom Tony to give it a little more something than just the hand-made repulsor and blueprints/magazine/armor face.

The guy who posted before me seems to have deleted their post, haha. Complaining about Sean Long, heh.

What body are you using?
I can try the armour on a similar body if you like.

Thanks! I think it was this one I had lying around that I got on eBay awhile back. I think it's a custom TTM Narrow Shoulder:

The lower legs are thinner variety... from slim TT, regular TT are bigger....

I'll try if I can fit the armor in a regular leg..

Update: A regular TT lower legs would not fit... even bare legs without pants... you would have to shave off the inner sides of the armor or the legs

I bashed my Stark figure, basically bought a bunch of parts from this boxed figure and put them together. I went with some other body (I don't even remember now) to save money. The bare legs wouldn't even come close to fitting into the leg armor.

I just took a Drimmel to the calves, shaved them down a bit, and also cut the bottom of the pant legs off of the set of pants that I used. You don't see them anyway once the leg armor is on.

He looks perfectly good to me. Just doesn't have the arc reactor in his chest. But I figured I'd never have that lit up anyway.

Makes a lot of sense.
I'd never have been able to tell the difference.
Good one.

Excellent.
I must be in the minority that actually liked that film.
I like the pics behind Tony above. Is that the window of the living room in Stark tower?
Do you also have the Art Of The Avengers?

Correct again, it's from the Art of the Avengers Tony's office tower . It's a very awesome book, I bought 2 copies as I use one for cutting out backgrounds. I'm planning to get the Art of Iron Man 3 by the time my Die Cast Metal Armor versions arrive from Sideshow.
