Correct again, it's from the Art of the Avengers Tony's office tower . It's a very awesome book, I bought 2 copies as I use one for cutting out backgrounds. I'm planning to get the Art of Iron Man 3 by the time my Die Cast Metal Armor versions arrive from Sideshow.

Beautiful.
And great idea.
The backgrounds look awesome.

I must be in the minority that actually liked that film.

I just watched Salvation 2 nights ago, in my opinion it is perfect, everything I wanted in a Terminator film, I just wish they kept it going and weren't rebooting it... :(

I know.
It was a nice twist from previous ones in that there was no time travel aspect.
I thought it was a great movie and can happily watch it over and over(I have the BluRay on my desk at work).
I know it's different. But you need that to keep a franchise fresh.

Exactly, people gave out because it wasn't like T1 or T2 but sure they made T3 like T1/2 with the robot sent back in time to kill John and another to save John and sure they hated that (loved that too) guess they're is no pleasing people... Did you watch the "Maximum Movie Mode" version on the blu ray? It really shows how clever and well done the movie was and what McG was planning and why he done things a certain way, really changed my views on some of the scenes.

Yes. The way i look at it, is that even in Salvation, the future world of the machines was only touched upon. We saw a fair bit of the factories and alternate machines, but i'd love to see more of the machines goings on.
I know these are movies about the human condition, but more info from the machines(Without a human in there. *JUST* seeing the machines working flat out to waste John, and the plans they are putting into place).

I did.
Really enjoyed that big time.
Have you ever read the 90's Dark Horse Terminator comics?

I agree TS is a great film- I don't get the hate towards it- so well done- big scale- great action- Bale and Worthington were just fine- great ending battle

Sorry to be off topic..
This Stark figure was one of my top three HT favorites of the year

Yeah I love the whole Endo look when he finally showed up I was like a kid sitting in the cinema, a whole movie set another few years would be awesome, seeing the T-800's out and about in a war with the humans like the little flashes we see in T1.

Yeah I read a few of the comics, I loved the 1984 and 2029 comics, thought those were amazing also the new Salvation comic is off to a interesting start...

Back on topic, finally got my new Tony so will sit down later tonight and have an ol "play" and see how I feel now about it.

I just got notice that my waitlist reservation is about to go to a live order. Has anybody had any bad experience with a waitlist item, ie. defects or such? I want this figure but not if it's gonna cost me more to find a replacement part on ebay.

I had asked the same question on the Midas thread and those that replied all said it would be a brand new, unopened figure. Hope that helped and good luck!

Most of the time it's brand new, sometimes, on an older item, they can send "refurbished" sets that were returned, that's happened to me with the DX10, but with the Midas and Tony, it's still generally new so it'll probably be a new one that another site couldn't sell and so SSC bought it back.

Quick Snap.

How much does this thing weigh? I just got my shipping notice and it says 13lb for the packaging. Is it really that heavy or is it a big box?
