I've got two with all 7 armors that are a lot higher resolution, only problem is they cut out right above the armor cases, i'd like something like this:

Unless someone can photoshop around this to make it black all around the armor cases, instead of the Iron Man 3 logo and gap above the cases in the middle

I actually already had Photoshop open, so I knocked this out real quick. It isn't perfect but I tried to clean it up a bit as well.

Did you PO from ABC? He was up at a good price, then sold out, then up again with a considerable increase in the price and now has vanished from their site. Guess the demand got high after folks saw the movie.

Good Lord, no! The last time I visited their site they had those crazy prices as you said, too bad I didn't PO with them earlier. I wanted to PO from BBTS but it was sold out too. Then I was between animarket and alteregocomics and I chose the last one

Was gonna use this one, but would prefer to have the whole of the cases visible like above.

You know, the more I think about it the more stupid it seems to me that Hot Toys just didn't make this figure a DX (no PERS needed). I mean look at it, we get the helmet and armor neck to put on it, we get the gauntlets/armor hands (just needed the other forearm with extra hands), and we get the boots. All we're missing are the pieces in the middle. Why couldn’t Hot Toys just have included the torso that included the biceps and thighs where then you could have took those parts from Tony and put all that together to build the MK42; “Two figures” with basically interchangeable parts. That would be worth $300 to me instead of having to pay what I feel is just over paying for a basic figures with a lot of accessories and an over sized base.

I think then it would have been a year "award winning" and Kick-*** figure!

Yep, he has both forearms/hands and "boots". We'd only need thigh pieces, torso and shoulders I guess. It'd kick ***, but I don't know if they could pull it, a removable torso armor...

Oh, I'm not saying any kind of snap on pieces, I'm talking like an extra body, but only the trunk (upper and lower chest and abdomen, but thighs and biceps, so that all you needed to do was put the collar, neck, helmet, forearm with armored hands, and the boots (calves and feet) on, and you would have had two complete figures, Tony Stark and the MK42.

I missed the PO for this MMS 191 Tony Stark figure and my retailer refuse to offer PO prices for him now and only retail price at the moment....
