Lol the most convenient plot point EVER is when the Chitauri all drop dead when the mothership is destroyed...
They should have been mopping those things up for ten years, District 9 style...
A bunch of Chitauri living in the projects, getting foodstamps.

sometimes people forget that its a ****ing comic book movie where a man in a suit can fly.

Yea my issue was more that it was un Tony to do the uzi and mcguyver **** where as if he had made a suit say from a car or something I would have been more happy.

At least the twist wasn't that their weakness was water and they invaded a planet where it's plentiful.:lol

And where a man with ten rings that could summon dragons and teleport is actually *more* far fetched than a guy who can make tazer-gloves from copper wire he bought from home depot

Why waist time making some nail gun when he could just buy a real one? He was in Tennessee..they practically give guns away when you buy a happy meal.

I always thought Tony wasn't a gun type of guy. Reinforced by the shot later when he can't even shoot straight.
He's just dandy in a suit of armour with shoulder mounted rockets that track themselves.
But he can't hit a bulb in a halogen spotlamp....

I thought it was great! In my review I wrote for the movie I said it was pretty much Tony's show...80% Tony, 20% Iron Man suit. Him using his mind in whatever way he could made sense. He went one man army until his suit was ready. To be fair, in the first film he had loads of time and help to make the suit. If he had built a suit out of a car I can guarantee it would've been hard to hear the end of the film with all the :slap that would've happened! :)

It's really a RDJ showcase, which is why I pre-ordered this figure as soon as I got home.

I dont know..he was pretty spot on with that nail gun.

That scene is very subjective though, I mean did he get the guy because he's a good shot at close range (replusor aiming at work) or did he get the guy because he emptied pretty much all the ammo into him so not to miss.

I think it's best not to delve to deep into silly points like that. It was a great fun flick and it's making the money so clearly some people like it, I know i did.

I know it's been discussed before, but I don't want to sift through 160+ pages... Will this fit in a detolf - namely the base?
