Pork Chop Express
I never drive faster than I can see...
Hey PCE, you sound like our sort of collector! Our greater collection (ie, the bits of it that are not the 1:6 scale figures) is also made up of die cast cars from the TV and movies - various scales - but with a good amount in 1:18. We have the ERTL Bullitt Mustang (with the hope of getting the AUTOart version) and black Dodge Charger, and I am after the ERTL Newman's White Challenger.
I have seen the ERTL Mach 5 but, at the time, it was always on my "Must Buy List #B" along with the Monkeemobile. Although, I will pick them up as I go.
As you can imagine, I have a fair few '66 Batmobiles...as well as other versions.
Cool, sounds like you have a nice collection going. Most of what I have right now are the standard 1:64 scale Hot Wheels, to date must be around 400-500 (possibly more, lost count a long time ago) 80's to present mostly with a few banged up 60's. That of course includes all the major movie\TV cars.
A few Matchbox 1:43 Mopar cars (I'm a Mopar guy).
Johnny Lightning Mopar stuff too...
Had some Ertl stuff but no longer.
Mach 5 would be IT for me. Batmobile looks fantastic.
George Barris' shop is not far from me and had one of his Batmobiles in there. About two weeks ago it was outside on a flatbed truck for whatever reason, stopping traffic.
I think the Dukes (at least Bo and Luke) with the G. Lee would be viable for HT to produce. I'd buy those in a second.
