Hey PCE, you sound like our sort of collector! Our greater collection (ie, the bits of it that are not the 1:6 scale figures) is also made up of die cast cars from the TV and movies - various scales - but with a good amount in 1:18. We have the ERTL Bullitt Mustang (with the hope of getting the AUTOart version) and black Dodge Charger, and I am after the ERTL Newman's White Challenger.

I have seen the ERTL Mach 5 but, at the time, it was always on my "Must Buy List #B" along with the Monkeemobile. Although, I will pick them up as I go.

As you can imagine, I have a fair few '66 Batmobiles...as well as other versions.

Cool, sounds like you have a nice collection going. Most of what I have right now are the standard 1:64 scale Hot Wheels, to date must be around 400-500 (possibly more, lost count a long time ago) 80's to present mostly with a few banged up 60's. That of course includes all the major movie\TV cars.
A few Matchbox 1:43 Mopar cars (I'm a Mopar guy).
Johnny Lightning Mopar stuff too...
Had some Ertl stuff but no longer.

Mach 5 would be IT for me. Batmobile looks fantastic.
George Barris' shop is not far from me and had one of his Batmobiles in there. About two weeks ago it was outside on a flatbed truck for whatever reason, stopping traffic. :)

I think the Dukes (at least Bo and Luke) with the G. Lee would be viable for HT to produce. I'd buy those in a second.

is it me, or does the HT batman look too dark? that youtube clip with the portable bat phone has batman wearing a very blue cape and cowl. the HT version looks deep purple. but im not good with colors, i know something is off. watch the video then look at SS. not the same blue to me.

Back in the day, I always thought the costumes and sets on this were tacky. This is part of what spoiled it for me as a child. I think HT has done the costumes as they should have been, or would be now if this were to be redone. The colours and details are actually better than on the original. I know that is going to upset the screen accurate brigade, but I actually like that.

Kuat of Kuat, I had the Collectable Kitbash, then One Sixth Bruce sales pages open for a three day stretch before pressing the button. I can currently justify only one major figure purchase per year, and it is almost impossible to chose. Last year's was DX11 and I am hoping HT don't bring out anything else unmissable this year. Save the Hellboy re-release until 2014, please.

I'd love it if that happened. A Hellboy with a Hulk-style PVC body and separate arms.

Yes, yes and more yes. Del Toro is supposed to be finally seriously considering the third film. That would be the time to do it. I think only that, or Blade Runner figures, could induce me to try and find more cash this year. Hope that doesn't happen.

I did exactly the same thing. A OneSixthBruce window was always open with the set in the basket ready to order. I went back and forth in my mind with the pros and cons, but in the end I just couldn't resist the deal he was offering!

Yeah I'm going to have a serious look at them today and make a decision before the day is out but to be honest I think I will be PO them.

Just couldn't let this thread slip to page 2. :lol

And oh yes, they will have a 66 HT Batmobile to go with them.

I PO'd them together from my online store before they got 'creative' with thier pricing...but I don't think I need this set...I think I am going to cancel them...no big WOW factor...and there are so many other figures out there that need a good home...

I just realized these TWO figures are my MOST wanted for next year.....above all the many others I want.. ahhh the lure of the nostalgia for olden times

Mine too. Really want to see the final pictures of the Batmobile and find out what it's price will be.

"More excited about the Batmobile than anything else. Love the figures, they're icing on the cake for me."
That's funny because the Batmobile is the icing on the cake for me. Very expensive icing, but finally having a Adam West Batman figure is what it's all about for me. These have been on my want list since I was four.

Yes, interesting how each person's perception of relevance is different for the same thing. These, to me are the reason for buying. Like you Sev, I have wanted these since I was 10 and back in the day I absolutely devoured the 8" MEGO figures even though, by today's standards, they were pretty poor.

Having said that, the car is also a 'MUST BUY' item for me. As I have shown elsewhere in this thread, I have alot of '66 Batmobiles specifically in various scales and forms and alot of Batmobiles in general, so there was never really a question mark for me.

If it were just the figures, I'd be a happy camper.
If it were just the car, I'd be a happy camper.

As it's both the car and the figures...I am in melt down!

I'm looking forward to your reaction then, if/when the TV series finally gets released.

If it's anything like mine, you'll be doing cartwheels down your street. :lol :yess:
