Ordered both! bring on the Batmobile!

I so want to build a 1/6 batcave...or at least a half cut out view to have in a display case.

So I heard they removed the "The Movie" from the Sideshow site. Does that mean this license is now the television series with a Batgirl in the future?

These figures are based on the film, thats why they have all the accessories used in the film. I attribute their description to Sideshow just being lazy and wanting to distinguish these from other Batman merchandise. To the uninitiated collector, they ARE from the TV series, regardless of being technically based on the film or not. Sideshow's website does not really affect which license HT has or doesn't have.

......well except Star Wars.:monkey5

I'm sure HT would make some sort of declaration about the TV series. They love to hype things up.

If that pic is an accurate representation of what we're getting than I'll go ahead and say these are HT's second and third best figures ever made.

Yeah, those sculpts are phenomenal. That West sculpt is better than any Bale cowled sculpt they've done that's for sure. On par with Keaton.

Any Bale cowl sculpt in 1/6th, that is; that QS is amazing. I'd say that HT's three best figures (in no specific order, would be West Batman, Keaton, and that final QS). It's just a shame that you can't have all three standing together...

Or perhaps you could? West Batman could pass for Silver Age Batman and you could form a backstory for how Keaton Bats and West Bats teamed up with the giant Batman of Universe X.:lol

All true! These look incredible.

These are my ABSOLUTE holy trails. My Keaton Bats is great but I grew up with this Bats and he and Robin will be the jewels in my collector crown.

Re-posting for awesomeness.

That Batman picture looks like someone has at least tried to lay the cape flatter around his neck, which makes it look much better and closer to the movies/series.

As for that photo of Robin/Burt Ward, if you click the expand bar to see the picture at a larger size, it is just incredible!

Robin looks great, he's definitely a purchase. I don't really see Burt Ward there at all though. Looks like a generic likeness of random 20s looking dude. Like the kind of headsculpt that would be available on a standard true type body release.

The skin texture is great, the mask and hair is sculpted well, and the paint is superb. Can't say that there's any defining features of Burt Ward's Grayson though, certainly nothing close to Adam West in that Batman headsculpt.
