Awesome collection of the live action Batmen ptassler!! Now you just need the ones from the serials and you'll have them all (so far).

Then of course, you'll have to get Batfleck when it is released.

EDIT: Just noticed Panther Suit Kilmer and Ice Suit Clooney are missing too. Still, impressive set.

Robin might be the most doll like figure I think HT have produced. All the best to those who buy this guy but good grief - apart from the headsculpt, this thing looks like it is from Toys R Us.

Sucks to be you man. I don't mean that in a nasty way either, I'm seeing a figure I'm really excited about and it'd bum me out if I was seeing what you're seeing.

It is a doll, LOL ! :rotfl
I realize some people are insecure about what they collect, but the company name is Hot Toys, after all! Own what you buy, or spend your money elsewhere. Anyone remember all the hand-wringing over rooted hair on Hot Toys like Black Widow, and how some boardies were scared it would mean they were collecting Barbies?

Preferring that one's dolls not look doll-like isn't about insecurity so much as aesthetics. I get what J&B is saying.

That's exactly why I shy away from female figures from HT.

Seriously though HT figures are more like works of art imo, the detailing in the sculpting and clothing etc is just crazy.

Anyway a doll is something you play with, I doubt anyone actually plays with HT figures. For me its a quick dust off maybe a repose and its back in the detolf for the next month.

Yeah could be.

I remember watching re-runs of the 60s Batman series on British TV in the 1990s, One of my favourite shows from back in the day.
If these two figs sell well we might se more characters done by Hot Toys, Catwoman, Joker The Riddler and Alfred would be nice, maybe even commissioner Gordon.

I think HT may get to Joker and Catwoman..with the HUGE news of the series finally out on DVD/BD this year it will be that extra push HT may need...

So many great pics of the figure show the torso looking absolutely fine. There's a silhouette of some slight padding 'perhaps' under the suit.. but nothing near the hyperbole a vocal few are shouting.

Additionally, any photo that seems to 'accent' the silhouette - is magnified at least five times the figure's actual size.

Hardly an objective way to critic something. :huh

I saw those Jingobell pics after I made that post and those look pretty good. Still, I'm keen to see it in hand. Overall I love 'em. I ain't hatin'.

Some of TD pics for those without FB.

It doesn't appear Jingobell got Robin which is a shame for i really enjoy his pics.

I know it's a doll - I said this particular one looks most doll-like.

Yeah - and I know people will want this figure for nostalgic childhood reasons. I loved the programme as a child.

It's not HT's fault it looks so doll like either - they have based it on the programme and in the programme they used material based suits which I feel, when translated to 1/6, can look very doll like.

If you placed 66 Robin side by side with The battle damaged T800 and asked people which they thought was a high end collectible...

Is it me or is it a "Conspiracy" :thwak
Did they shortened the neck and widened his head, or just raise his collar? The top stock pics looks different from Proto bottom pics below.

Stock Robin.......I mean how much lower can i push the collar down.

We know Ivaniski, we know. :lol I tend to agree with you, but you don't have to post comparison pics of the proto every time a new pic of the in hand figure pops up.

Although these two figures are a total total win to me, I think Robin's tailoring on his vest is off ( as far as the few pics I've seen) and looks too bulky in the wrong places..I have no issue with his HS
