Current deal - 20% off = 180 + no shipping + $34 in rewards vs ultron deal 40% off = $140 + $18 shipped + $7 in rewards.

Looks like this one is the better deal? adding the shipping and subtracting the reward points you get $146 vs. $151.... $5 :lol :lol :lol

I don't know, I'm so confused, haha

When you factor in the double rewards and free shipping, it's about the same as the quick 40% off that came and went, right?

The 40% off plus 5% back in reward points would of been a better deal then the current discount. Think it's a difference of like $20 to $25. I don't understand how ssc says you can get up to $34.50 back in RPs. Even if you double the RPs it's only like $18. They only give you 5% back on what you actually spend. So .20 off 229.99 comes out to $184. Then 5% back off $184 is $9. Their current promotion says extra rewards so can't figure out how they came up with 34.50 unless it's triple rewards.

How long is wolvie code up for? Not sure if I want to pull the trigger on this one or AOU since in CA there's tax. If I'm gunna get close to $200 might just wait for the AOU figure. :gah:

I like the sleeveless and silver look better, but it will be higher priced and I'm not sure if I want to be worrying about the rubber arms. From what I gather the armored versions don't seem to have any real problems.

Extra reward points are weird ... I'm still getting back around $32 in rewards on Thor even though he was 20% off. I'm not complaining.

Nope, not ultron ... a movie tie in that worked on mostly the usual stuff that's eligible for the 20% codes

First off, sorry for the lack of clarity with my posting about the price difference, was on my phone half awake in bed when I posted that. Yes, the ULTRON code gave 40% off to the Marvel figures still lingering around Sideshow.

And Lex, even though I was standing next to you awaiting your theory to come true, I couldn't take the risk and after weighing it out I decided to do the 20% off and take the extra rewards as I have a rewards plan which involves something for my wife so I can say "yeah I know Hot Toys are a lot, but look what I got you for free!". She doesn't mind my hobby by any means as she's a geek too, but just for reassurance....

Is there any main thread here somewhere for tracking SS coupon codes, discounts and sales? It would be real helpful.
