I wonder if the Avengers body would look good with TDW costume since it is rubber shell pieces that provide total coverage around the shoulders and arms. My only beef with this figure is the big gap when raising the arms. The Avengers costume is wider at the shoulders and definitely covers the new body better.

I really cannot tell that big of a difference on the chain mail detail from the above pictures, however it could be a much larger improvement in hand.

Of course pics and lighting can be deceiving but this pic does kind of illustrate what I know about the two versions. The new chainmail is a little darker and seems to be more fitted to the arms (minimizing on bunching when bent)

I would definitely try it out, if I had it. Helmet and sandpaper all ready for it. I will force that helmet on him. Lol

I can still find Avengers Thor in stock searching some e-tailers. He was definitely the least popular figure based on sell-out potential. With Avengers 2 having the sames type of suit I think this one will warm shelves. Obviously, the light armor will definitely be tougher of these to get in a year.

I cancelled mine awhile back, but I was thinking about picking it up again when it is in stock with one of those $25 coupons. Not sure how fast he'll sell out though, but since those coupon codes have been given out pretty frequently as of late, I was thinking of taking my chances and waiting for the next one...
