Ohhhh yeah. Thanks guys. I couldn't really remember as I've only really used the fists on mine. And I know the original release of the TDK suit came with hands specifically designed for the batpod and were described as such, like with catwoman. Which no subsequent release did. I guess now they're just generic open hands that can be used for the batpod too.

I finally preordered the armory alone and bought a custom suit for Wayne.

Those HT Wayne and Alfred suits look amazing, but just too much money.

When the full set goes up to $1500 on eBay, I'll sell the Wayne suit and parts minus the sculpt for close to enough to cover the original cost of the set. Yes! ;) Then I'll just need to unload my DX12 for $400 to $500 and I'll be well ahead of the curve.

I have never bought any hot toys but I am tempted to get just the armoury batman set just to display the armoury. I think it would look good with some of my other Batman stuff. It really does look fantastic. The only thing is the price it the same as Premium Format figure but I will admit I have never seen a Hot Toys item in person so I am in no position to question quality or finish on any of them. Does the price seem fair to everyone else and are the quality of these good enough to just be able to display the armoury with out other figures around to create a scene or something?

The whole set is a steal imo. Never seen a HT batman but i saw a joker and i was tripping out and if the quality is the same, just the batsuit in the armory would be pretty cool.

I'm a fan of dio's so I would be getting the whole set but if you wanna just display the armory, by all means go for it. I don't think you can go wrong

Thanks for the reply. It does look fantastic. I think its awesome that there is a light up feature.

It's for controlling the lights, allowing you to keep the display behind glass or on a shelf and turn on/off the lights without trying to hit a little button on it somewhere.

Thanks for the reply, that's a cool little feature. Thought it was to remotely open the armory cage lol

Yep... Keep bane on left and joker on right and press the remote... The armory gate knocks both of them out and the batman wont need to use his constipated voice anymore... ;)

Reminds me of the remote controlled upcoming Robocop and ED209 figures... would be cool just to sit back on a couch, press a button, and let the electronics amaze any guests you may have :yess:

Would be much cooler if it had AC power!

That will get done before I put the armory on display. I hard-wire as much as I can that would normally require batteries. Examples: Tumbler, Cloud City weather vane for DX07, added lights to Superman's crystal base, will do Darth Vader's chest lights next month.

Cool. How did you hard-wire the Tumbler?

I have a question. The wires on my DX02 stand got fried and broke. Would you know how to fix that to get the lights working again? I don't know anything about electrical engineering so I want to learn if I could possibly fix it.

Scan through my office thread for info and pictures.

Yeah, pretty simple, send me a PM and include whatever pictures you have - in addition to the two above, get me an image of the battery compartment as well. And let me know if you just want to fix it so it continues to work the way it was designed or if you want to wire it for an AC adapter.

Found it. Awesome collection and setups by the way! I'll read through it.

Will do. I will take some pictures tomorrow when the lighting is better and send a PM your way. With the stand, I want to get it to how it was before. Thanks!
