Hey guys as i mentioned before I don't have much knowledge on hot toys. Do they sell out fast and or suddenly. I really am considering getting the armoury with Batman but I am not sure. Could I just come to SS site any day now and discover its sold out? I see they do not have edition sizes listed like SS figures. Just curious, don't want to be left in the cold. Thanks

I wouldn't wait too long on this one. There are a lot of Batman fans and I'm confident this will sell out! Most HT's do sell out and then the aftermarket becomes brutal!

The good thing about SSC is the waitlist, and the chances are very high if you are on the waitlist early that you will get one. Only thing is there is no FlexPay so if you are looking to do that, then it is best to order now before the waitlist is enacted.

Yeah I have utilized the waitlist before in my favor on the Superman PF and it worked out but on this I was hoping to go flex pay to more easily justify the cost. I just need to decide if I really want to get this or save the cash for another PF as it's the same price basically. I don't buy many statues so far only have two with the arrival of the Batman PF tomorrow but I am first and foremost a Batman fan and this looks fantastic. I guess I have to decide if I am willing to pay this kind of cash for this. Hopefully it won't sell out before the end of the month so I have some time to consider my options.

I've just realized I need a full Bruce Wayne minus the head, and an Alfred overcoat, vest, pants, belt and shoes. On top of ordering the full set. Going to be brutal on the Bay. I really hope they made a lot of these for collectors. Bruce and Alfred are really desirable, it was such a smart move to pair them up with the armory.

I ordered 2 full sets myself. Gonna prolly part out some of the stuffs I don't need on my second set later.

Question: Is it worth buying 2 full sets and then parting out what you don't need, or is it better off just to get the parted out part separately? I want an extra Bruce Wayne head and maybe an additional Batsuit to get more poses with (like fighting with a second Bane), but I have no need for the extra armory, Bruce body/suit, or extra Alfred. I guess what I am asking is, will I make more if I buy 2 and sell while keeping the parts I want, or will I just lose that way and thus it would be better off to just buy what I want in the aftermarket? Is it better value to purchase the 2 things I want separately or is it more worth it to invest in a whole 2nd set and sell, in terms of value-wise and what I get in return? I don't buy for the purpose of reselling so I don't know if I would get back good value or not.

It's always a gamble parting out, but patience can increase the reward. This is a GREAT speculator's set.

I am still thinking about whether I want the full set or just go for the Armory with Batman. How to pay for it is a big part of my consideration. *sigh*

Nobody knows if these will sell well when parted out. But then again I don't really mind having a spare Batman stuffs. Its good to have some back ups, especially at retail price.

Agreed. I might get just the Armory with the Batman figure as well since getting the Batman figure aftermarket will probably be around the $250-$300 mark anyways... I don't really have the need for an extra armory so I was hoping to sell that.

My guess since most Batman stuff is expensive, that it will be pricy on secondary market. Even Wayne and Alfred. they will all go for well above retail each especially if it sells out, which TDK Trilogy Batman stuff tends to sell out. Ill be shocked to see any of them under $300 each.

Haha, I was planning on selling the armory and keeping the Batman figure, so I'm guessing there's a good chance I can get $250-$300 for it? The Batman figure I'm sure will sell for $250-$300 at least in the aftermarket, so I'd rather pay the extra $100 or so to get the armory set and maybe part out the armory so that I would be "spending less" on the Batman figure had I bought it separately.

Yah even that seems low. I'm kind of shocked at the retail price for this anyway. I really thought it would be much more. But I'm so glad its not this is like one of my most anticipated things HTs has ever done!! I really wanted this from HTs because I mainly collect TDK trilogy. And I didn't get the Toy Legends because i figured HTs would make it. So im really excited for this!!!
